  1. Yep, according to Wikipedia he was on Low:\ Low and Fix You are my two favorite Coldplay songs! Yeah, I know... i don't like Eno. I think he is overrated.
  2. Exactly! Coldplay are the success they are today because of their amazing work on their previous albums-- not because all of a sudden Eno "saved" them. I honestly believe that even if Eno had not been involved in VLV, Coldplay would still have put out a great 4th album. Eno is giving himself way to much credit. And no matter how many people love to bash and criticize X&Y -- let's not forget X&Y has sold million of copies worldwide. 737,000 it' first week in the U.S. And with the exception of the track "Low" (in which Eno played backing synthesizer) those numbers and that kind of success had nothing to do with Eno and all about how brilliant Coldplay is.
  3. Totally agree with you! X&Y is brilliant and Eno is an arrogant moron :veryangry:
  4. Totally agree with you! It's one of my favorites on the album. :)
  5. Cool, "Yes" is on the list! Am I correct that they have not played Yes at any of the free shows. I think it was rehearsed during the family rehearsal show?
  6. Wow that's awesome! Lost is my favorite song on the album. I'm glad Fix You has also placed on the charts. That's my favorite CP song :D
  7. For me it was "A Rush of Blood to the Head" I had heard Yellow and The Scientist but I had not made the connection that the songs were by Coldplay. When I heard AROBTTH, the song caught my attention. I did some research to see who played the song. After that I started listening to CP
  8. Lost! and Lost? I love both versions and I love the lyrics -- especially when I'm feeling down. :)
  9. LOL, I went to Circuit City just to get my shirt. When I got there they told me they did not have any more shirts. The lady at the checkout told me that the store only had 4 shirts to give away. Oh well, at least I finally got my CD.
  10. My goodness!!! They are in top form. All of the songs -- old and new sound amazing. I love it!!!!
  11. If possible could you please include any songs that they are playing in between the interview. I am trying to listen in at work but I keep getting called off so I have missed a big chunk of what is going on. Please
  12. last non-CP song then it will be a 3 part CP interview with songs.
  13. I still think that Coldplay will be number 1 in the U.S. Lil Wayne will get most of his sales in the U.S. this week. If Coldplay is not number one something is seriously wrong with musical tastes in the U.S. :shocked2: No offense to any Lil Wayne fans but his music is terrible. :P Even if CP is not number one though it doesn't really matter -- we know who of the two is more talented and who will be around for years to come. :wink3:
  14. You are the best! I love all your choices! The Hardest Part and What If are 2 of my all time favorite Coldplay songs.:dance::dance:
  15. Hi Benjamin Linus! :D I seriously could give you a hug! Thank you for giving X&Y another chance! :) The same thing happened to me with AROBTTH. I had not listened to that album in a long time. I recently went back to listen to it and I fell in love with the album again. That's the thing with Coldplay -- they are just amazing and I am proud to be a fan regardless of what people like Andy Gill (the Independent) or other Coldplay haters say.
  16. LOL, you are the one who brought up the band's opinion on X&Y. But you are right that it really does not matter what a band says or feels about their album. I doubt any band goes into the studio thinking -- "let's create a crappy album." As to Fall Out Boy, I don't put any value into their opinions. After all, their primary lyricist (Wentz) just married Ashlee Simpson (nuff said about their tastes ) However, as to Martin's opinion about X&Y -- he is absolutely right. X&Y is a "masterpiece" and he has the record sales and several awards for the album to prove it (and back up his statement).
  17. Actually that is NOT true. In the interview with Ben Jones this week Chris Martin said that the band loved X&Y and that they were proud of it. He said that the only downside of the album was that it might have been too long. Chris Martin concluded the question about the album by saying that X&Y was a "glowing masterpiece" :D
