Hey Sam. After reading your post I have to say everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Having said that, I completely disagree with you. For me Parachutes was just ok. AROBTTH was better. However X&Y is by far the BEST Coldplay album. X & Y is perfect in every way --- musically and lyrically. With every new album Coldplay has gotten better. If the song Viva La Vida is any indication of what their fourth album will be like, then I am absolutely certain that this is not the end of Coldplay. The song is just MAGICAL! Coldplay will be around for a very long time!!!! :cool:

OMG it was exactly the same for me. The first time I heard Violet Hill I was not sure I liked it. I had to listen to Violet Hill a couple of times and then I loved it. Viva La Vida - I fell in LOVE with it on the first listen!!!!! It is so beautiful and magical. Wow Just WOW!!! :dance:
