smashing pumpkins, nirvana, oasis and radiohead were the best bands of the 90s, pearl jam is somewhere after these 4, i think nirvana at their time was more popular all together because they were much bigger in other countries and it was nirvana and pearl jam in america.

then again both kurt and thom were heavily influenced by the pixies, so maybe they are more influential.

no way in hell in utero is a half decent album...its nirvana's best, not most popular, but best...and he did write nevermind so that is a dumb argument.

the version on guitar hero 3 is a horribble cover version. sounds nothing like the original, they even added an extra long guitar solo and the guy singing is terrible.

their first 3 albums were very good, their last one comes dangerous close to sounding like something nickelback would do.

idk...i guess hes a person that likes to keep constantly busy recording. yea i cut like a buffalo is good also and bone house...its pretty good so far but ive only listened to the album like once through.
