Once! It was a very strange but brilliant dream. Me and my 5 best mates went to wembley arena to see Muse and Coldplay. It seemed to be some sort of festival. It was snowing, and it was freezing cold. So who walks past me but Chris dressed in the Black of the Twisted logic tour. So my mate ran over to him shouting "Chris! You have to meet me friend Glen, He's like your biggest fan." So he comes over and i said to him "Chris I love you! and i love your Work" so he says "Oh thats great, its nice to see real fans" So i goes "can I Have a Picture with you?" so he says "I would mate, but cameras aren't allowed" And I Woke Up, Pretty Upset too :cry:

When my dad came into my room 3 years ago and went "Give Coldplay A Listen, There Good" Thanks Dad.:)

I thought the exact same thing. I dunno guys something sounds fishy here. I mean all these songs we know existed. and its not hard to make up a few lyrics to the ones that we haven't allready heard live. If this is true, your are a VERY lucky person, and congrats that there are at least 100 coldplay fans here that will hunt you down for it:P If 1 copy has left some sort of " TOP SECRET " coldplay area, there must be more floating around somewhere. Check Limewire and Torrent sites as i will be, every day. If this is fake, You sir, Are Very Mean!

Theres a guy i see every day busking who IS Chris, just with long black hair. He plays a very good accoustic version of The Scientist too! =]

Its my favourite Album, and i would defend it too the hilt. I agree with the critics, when they say that it is coldplays most mainstream, and unnatural album, But the music produced, i feal is extremely strong, and very good. I think that it was badly directed, and the music on it are very experimental, with the use of Synths, more catchy riffs etc. but we do not recognise it as being very experimental, as the tracks are all over the place, with no real flow as we see in VLV. Yes the lead single "Speed of Sound" is very similar to the grammy award winning "clocks" Yet i love it and will always be in my playlist til kingdom come.;) Album doesn't contain any emotion? "Fix you" Written for Gweneth Regardinge Bruce Paltrows death as she suffered from depression after the event. "What if" A Song Written and dedicated to their Daughter Apple."A Message" and "Swallowed in the Sea" two love songs each starting with a slow melodic accoustic, which build into a more fast paced finlale. Others say that the album contains a strong "Spacey" theme that continues throughout the album. But did we not heavily want a theme for VLV? I agree that Chris's voice doesnt sound as natural as the previous, but does it sound any worse? It is all a matter of oppinion in life. Love & Loath. X & Y.

Great thread. I dont find any fault in the Albums except for X&Y, my Favourite album. i just think that rearranged it would be so much better. on my playlist its :- 1. Square One, 2. X & Y, 3. White Shadows, 4. Twisted Logic, 5. Speed of Sound, 6. Talk, 7. What if, 8. Low, 9. The Hardest Part, 10. Swallowed in the Sea, 11. Fix You, (30 second Pause) 12. A Message, 13. Till Kingdom Come.

I liked how he looked in the Fix You vid, and most of the Twisted logic tour before he grew the strange afro thing. Short and kinda spiked up.:)

Anyone that doubts chris's voice i feal should listen to the accoustic Version of yellow from the BBC. Maybe he cant hit the melting high notes of Shiver but it is still very powerful.

Dont be too down on Keane, there last 2 albums were brilliant, Everybodys Changing, Crystall Ball, Is it any wonder, Realy great songs before they went wierd with spiralling. Gotta have some radiohead, Karma Police, Street Spirit, Creep, The Bends. If your going for bands similar to Coldplay, Travis is definately worth a go, Turn, Sing, Driftwood, Closer. Errm... Stereophonics, Oasis, The Doves, Elbow, U2, Manic Street preachers. And as somebody up /\ There said, try Muse. Muse and Coldplay go together brilliantly :)

I still think its just gonna be a viva la vida b-sides catalogue anyway. So January would be nice.

It is Fox, in an interview, Chris said he finished off Violet Hill, ( becuase "Was a long and Dark December") where the first lyrics Chris ever wrote within Coldplay. He said he got inspiration off Watching Fox news, or something along the line. I'd send i link, but i have no idea what the interview was for.
