I don't know if there is a thread like this one, but, anyway, it has been always in my mind what album represents the band members and the name "Coldplay" more. So far, for me X & Y fits them more to me, I mean, the album artwork, the style of the album, is just, that everytime I think of the name "Coldplay", it always comes X & Y. So, what about you guys?

This might be because this song has more into it, I mean, for me, this is song is pure Coldplay material, outside of every song of the album.

Ohh, well, honestly, U2 is like being like the Rolling Stones, but, way much better. Their style is unique, idk, but Coldplay's new expectative is something that will make them feel like never before, that being saying "We are trying to get better, not bigger".

Reign of Love wasn't that bad, it kinda matches with Lovers In Japan together, thats why they put it that way. Or they should've put Famous Old Painter or Prospekt's March

I think there are more secrets to it, the song has like a kinda of two parts, see it as LiJ / RoL, because in some part it ends, then, the drums and the guitar come to play instantly. Nice eye btw. :)

It seems that Reign Of Love sometimes has the sound and the rhythm of "Til Kingdom Come" from X & Y, actually, the middle parts of Reign Of Love seems to match with the lyrics: "Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me" from "Til Kingdom Come". Anybody agrees?

Mine was Clocks, but when I heard it, I didn't knew the name, then, some day of 2007 (summer), my dad gave me the name, but I began getting when my cousin had singstar, when I saw the song Speed of Sound by Coldplay, I said "Hey, its coldplay", since that day I started hearing all the time Speed Of Sound and Clocks all the time.

I thought the band was no big deal here at my country, but since I saw all the advertisements for the new album and this, whooo.

Ohh lmao, my experience was worst dude. I got at Best Buy today at 10:30, when I entered, I didn't saw the album anywhere on the CD section, then my father asked a dude over there and then he showed me a big special section where they had like 100 Viva La Vida CDs, the section was all Coldplay, I was so OMG, that section was nicely created.

Well... Definetely, just 12 hours for me to get the album and hear it for the first time (whooo).

Wayne is more adult stuff, Coldplay is more universal and has more poetic lyrics.

CD on best buy (cheap), digital music is just not the real thing, even thought iTunes offers it cheaply and with an additional song, getting the CD is better (for me).
