  6. Hey there, this has probably had been asked before in a thread, but I can't find it. You know how awesome the bass sounds in White Shadows. Well I can't figure out the part where it goes 'all this noise, I'm waking up...'. I know it's a lot more complicated than the tabs I came across on ultimate-guitar.com, but sadly, I have troubles to figure it out by ear. Can anybody help me, please? :P
  7. Yeah in nunavut  Btw! I thought about you in geography, the other day, Crests :P There was a girl talking about her job and she said it costs more to take a plane to go to Nunavut than to go to Europe :stunned:

  14. Oh my, it's quite a hard vote actually.. I voted for The Scientist, but I think Mr Brightside, White Flag, Can't Get You Out Of My Head, Seven Nation Army, By The Way and In The End all deserve to be chosen too.... it's back to 3% after I voted for it..
  15. Thank you :D

  18. Hey Rick, I finally posted a review in the Sonata Arctica thread! Here's the link to the page: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3532215#post3532215
  19. I saw them live yesterday and here's my review, as promised to Rick: So, we arrived at the Theatre Imperial in Quebec city at around 17.00. There were already 20 people queuing or so. People were putting Sonata Arctica songs on their cellphone to put everyone into the atmosphere. The funny thing is that Sonata Arctica wasn't even the main band. Them and Taking Dawn, a brand new group, were doing the first part of Dragonforce. After waiting an hour and a half, they opened the doors. We bought our shirts (I love mine btw, it's the cover of the new album on the front and the tour dates at the back) and ran to get good places, which we did. I can't really explain how the venue was made, but the place where people stand is like huge stairs, the bottom being in front of the scene. We were on the second 'step' of that kind of stair, and this way, we were at the same level as the stage, right in front of them, with no one in front of us. It was the perfect place. That's when Taking Dawn started playing. They were good, not so bad, the singer's voice reminded me of Rhapsody of Fire. They played for half an hour and then it was a break before Sonata Arctica. We could clearly feel the tension increasing, it was awesome. At least half of the time there had come only for Sonata Arctica. SONATA ARCTICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!! Oh my god, I went CRAZY there. Seriously. They started the show with In Black And White, from Unia, which was a good starter. They played Flag in The Ground, from their new album, and it probably was my favorite of the show. Seriously. Wow. Then it was 8th Commandment.. crazy! Last Drop Falls was very nice too. Then Fullmoon, which was funny at first. Tony fucked up the lyrics and Henrik started playing a 'yodeley' song :P It was very funny. They played the song and it was crazy too. Don't Say a Word was epic, as usual. They played Vodka, that's a habit they never lose and they finished with Everything Fades To Gray. Then it started getting interesting, if I may say. The day before, I had prepared a poster with 'Sonata Arctica are Finnish music GODS' writen on it and a drawing of the Finnish flag. I showed them my poster at the end. Tony saw it first, told Elias to look at it and then the whole band saw it. They smiled at me and Tony made ma thumbs up :D. I thought I was gonna die. I thought it would have been the best part of the show but no... For Dragonforce, we decided to leave our good places to true fans and went upstairs, on the balcony, where it was a lot calmer. We stayed close to the entrance. Dragonforce started playing, they're not bad actually, live. They're funny blokes. The singer, during the show, spent his time throwing bottles of water in the crowd.. anyways. At one point, the band left the keytarist alone on the scene. Henrik then appeared on the scene and they started a keytar solo fight. It was AWESOME! Afterwards, Dragonforce started to play again. I was enjoying the show and all, when my friend hit me and showed me someone next to me. I looked and couldn't believe my eyes. TONY KAKKO AND TOMMY PORTIMO WERE ENJOYING THE SHOW NEXT TO ME! OH MY GOD. I thought I was gonna die for real this time. I tapped on Tony's arm and told him it was a great show and all, that I had been a fan for 3 years and that it was the first time I had the chance to see them live. He was glad I could come and actually recognised me when he saw I had the poster in my hands :P He smiled to me then and we started watching the show together again. After a while, Tommy and him left and went back downstairs. I couldn't believe it. My heart wanted to get out of my chest. I wassooo under the shock hat I started crying :P The show ended on Through the Fire and Flames and we left the venue. That was my review. Sorry if it is long, but it was just too awesome.
