A presale is when a certain amount of tickets are sold before to those who have access to it (using a presale code often given out in promotion of say, a company's services). The presale is of course as you can tell, sold before the rest of the tickets go on sale to the general public. When they came to Ottawa, I was able to get really good tickets because of the presale (they're not all great but I do believe that most of them are pretty good). You can get some more info if you go check out the thread on the North American Presale. And no prob! I am always nervous when ticket buying time comes! also, if the site (like ticketmaster for example) requires you to put in info (which they will) you should sign up for the site. that way all your info is on there when you log on and buying tickets is much faster. cheers

Hmmm, if I were you, I'd get ready for there to be a presale tomorrow (although it's unlikely...I'm going to do it anyway) and to for sure check on Friday for ticket sales. I also sit by the television and have it on the weather channel so that I can refresh my page right at 10am. I also have things like my credit card number written in word so that I can just copy and past it when the time comes haha. GOOD LUCCKKKKK Also, does anyone know about the seating? I went to check out the 3d seating plan and first row (yeah right, as if I'd be lucky enough to get that) seems like all you see is the bottom of the stage. And, anyone have any guesses as to where the "c" stage will be (if there is one?)

I know this isn't about toronto, but I feel like this is an amphitheatre tour or something. anyone think they're gonna tack on an extra date in a montreal amphitheatre sometime during the break after the toronto gig?

ahh ok. so my chances are better with the general sale then? when I saw them in October I did pretty well with the presale...but all of this has me worried now! all I want are some good tickets =( and it'd be nice if everyone was on equal playing field but alas, that is not how things work.

hey guys, sorry if this is a stupid question but does anyone have any experience with this venue? I was looking at the seating chart and it shows a front pit which I am assuming will be GA? Is it on grass? Anyone have any info on this? I'm mostly wondering because I will be driving into town and wanna know how early I'd prolly have to get in there by to get a good spot if its GA! yeah, when I signed up for ticket rush, there was this monthly presale password so I think that's it...I guess you would be buying the tickets directly from ticket rush then? ahhh I hate this ticket business, I wish it wasn't so confusing haha

yes, i second or third the presale comment! ahhhhhh I am so excited for this! mostly because I promised my brother (who would never spend any money on a concert bc he's a poor student) that I'd buy him a ticket if they came again and he made the comment that it wouldnt happen anytime soon! I told him today about it and I know that at least a very little bit of him is excited! yayyyyyy

whoa, were all the other tours this long? i feel like they're going above and beyond tour-wise. I know they already came to central-eastern Canada (Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa) but man I would cry tears of joy if they came anywhere near here again.

So DJ Earworm did a mashup of the top 25 hits of 2008. I thought it was pretty cool! specially with viva la vida being the main tune.

semi-related...but I made christmas cards using the butterfly confetti from the concert! basically I just got some card stock and centred a butterfly on each. They're really cute but simple and I think my friend appreciated hers since she went to the concert with me =)

i just wanted to add that trying to sell anti-coldplay merchandise on a coldplay fansite has got to be one of the stupidest ideas ever.

sorry to jump into this thread for my own purposes (haha) but has anyone gotten that new butterfly shirt? does it fit like all of the other shirts for women? I think I want it! also, I bought the white burnout t in october when they came to ottawa (http://coldplay.fanfire.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/fanfire.woa/wa/product?sourceCode=COLWEB&sku=COL44095) and while its comfy, I did not know it was pretty much a see-through curtain until I got it in my hands and had already paid for it. I'm not one to complain, so I took it anyway. I wish it was opaque.
