That's a lot ... :( The problem here is that until 2006 every student had to pay only about 150€ each semester. But some politicians thought it made sense to make the students pay an extra fee of 500€ each semester. :dozey: Until now we don't really have a working grant or scholarship system ... I'm a very lucky person, because my parents give me the money, but there are lots of students who actually have to work day and night to afford all that ...

Yup, it does. But I guess College in USA is still more expensive than that ...

I sometimes feel like we're having more breaks than courses. All in all we have like 6 months without courses ... and we're paying like 700€ for three months of courses ... :(

Well, uni works a bit different here I guess. Winter semester starts in October and ends in February, that's when the exams of this semester take place. The summer semester starts in April and ends in July, so the exams of the summer semester take place in July.

:uhoh: Good luck with that. :) University starts the 19th of October ... :\ The breaks in Germany are way too long. :lol: My last exam was in July ... :lol:
