You should be able to get the dvd online for cheap now. I just bought my own copy today at Barnes & Noble because it was in their $9.99 promo sale. As for the movie not making sense to people who don't like Glen's music, I actually didn't hear of Glen until I saw this movie (I'm sorry!) and I think it was better that way for me. But now that I have, I'm glad :) He's great!

Loved this book. My copy has so many dogears and post-its because the book has so many nice quotes :)

I loved this film! Quite simple and I think that's what made it beautiful to me. Just a story of two strangers really that get united by music ("Falling Slowly" is a great song and I was so happy Glen and Marketa(?) won the Oscar for it!)

Coldplay in October is going to be my first time seeing a big band alone. Other concerts I've attended I went with at least one other person. But I've already been to IZOD Center (when it was still Continental Airlines Arena) alone to watch Stars On Ice and the fact that I was alone didn't bother me one bit. I wasn't going to miss an opportunity to see some of my favorite Olympic champions just because noone else was interested in going with me! So I'm pretty sure when I see Coldplay in October I will be just fine. I don't mind doing things alone anyway, so it doesn't bother me lol :)

I agree, more crazy Chris dancing! lol I totally bhangra-ed(or at least tried to) along with him. Their performance was great!

I'm not in a band :( but I have a friend that has one, so I made sure to share this info with her! Hopefully her bandmates would be willing (hello? Coldplay?!?!) And I've made her promise one of the tickets they win will be MINE! lol

Haven't bought the CD yet (I know...what kind of fan am I?!) But I did buy my first Coldplay ticket ever! Oct. 27 @ IZOD Center in New Jersey. Seat location: section 122, row 19, seat 3! Woohoo!

I don't really know what it's all about because when my best friend and I saw Justin Timberlake & Pink last year at IZOD, the sound was pretty good to me. But then again, I haven't been to many concerts in an arena such as this (Jason Mraz in Avery Fisher Hall, M.I.A. in Central Park) so I can't really compare it to other arenas.

I agree, you will need a lot of coffee. I've had to drive from Central Jersey to Harrisburg a couple of times before so I know it's a bit of a drive. Any way you could possibly get into the city the night before?

Question ... on the official Coldplay site it says that the tickets for 10/26/08 in East Rutherford, NJ is on sale 6/14 but the link to livenation says it's on sale 6/21...which should I go by? need to put enough moolah in my account by appropriate date...
