Top 3 Favorite Coldplay Songs?
It's difficult deciding what my 3 favourite songs are as there are so many to choose from. But I have made my mind up. 1. Death & all his friends 2. 42 3. Talk I love how '42' starts of with just Chris singing and then the guitars are introduced. Great Song! I think asking what a person's 3 favourite songs is a tricky question, and I'm sure my mind will change.

15-Dec-08 - London, O2 Arena - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
I've got a couple of tickets for this date, and I'm so looking forward to it. Watching some of the videos on youtube from the shows they've already done in America it looks like we'll be in for a real treat. :)

What do you think about the running time of "Viva La Vida" tour concerts???
90 minutes does sound a little short considering the huge back catalogue of music they have. I think if you are paying £38.50 a ticket, you should expect a longer setlist. On the other hand they are playing several shows and don't want to make themselves too tired. Also they probably want to put the least amount of effort in whilst still earning quite a lot of money. However, I'm still looking forward to seeing them in December, can't wait!!!! I am a HUGE fan!!!

Concert Merchandise
I used to regularly buy a t shirt when I went to a concert, but don't usually bother now. Although my friend did buy me a t shirt the other day when I went to see Jack Johnson in Hyde Park. I will probably buy one when I see Coldplay in December, with all the tour dates on the back. :)

What's the matter with Guy?!!
...and he probably had to hand over half of his £30 million fortune to his wife. :(

Track Skipping.
The one track I tend to skip is 'Strawberry Swing'. I find it a little turgid.

Nosebleed Seats
A nosebleed seat is a tongue in cheek term used to describe seats that are located in the upper tier of an arena. The seats are usually the furthest away from the band as well. The term alludes to the propensity for nasal hemorrhage at high altitudes.

18-June-2008: BBC Gig - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
I got back from work at about 7:20pm last night so only caught the last 25 minutes or so. I don't think the album version of 'Lost' is that great, but the live version was quite stunning, the percussion was amazing. 'Lovers in Japan' was beautiful as well. :)

Just had a look at your Brixton pics of facebook, I saw you on TV last night at the BBC show. :)

O2 or NIA - which is the better venue?
The O2 is a good venue with excellent acoustics. The NIA is about half the size I think. Manchester MEN and O2 are a similar size, they both take about 20,000 people! :shocked2:

16-Jun-08: London - Brixton Academy
I seriously think that DAAHF is one of the best tracks on the new album.

I think the reason why Keane havn't played free shows is becasue they can't afford to , they're not as wealthy as Coldplay. Just becasue I said the set was short doesn't mean that I didn't like it, I actually really enjoyed it and am looking forward to seeing them play at the O2 in London. I didn't want to cause any antipathy, I was simply saying what I thought, everyone's entitled to their opinion.

16-Jun-08: London - Brixton Academy
I listened to the concert on the radio, and they had barely played for fifty minutes by the time they ended the main set. They've got 4 albums out for pity's sake! That said maybe the gig was short because it was just a warm up for the main tour.

Bit of a shame they missed out 'Speed of Sound'. Still a top quality setlist though! I hope they include 'Cemetries of London' when they play the December gigs.

tour tickets
I know this may seem like a silly question, but are all the seats in the lower tier at the O2 better than the ones in the upper tier? Thanks :)

New sound is great but.. anyone miss the old (Parachutes, etc)
Yeh it is a superb album, I can hear the african and hispanic influences in some of the songs. I agree with you about the 2 songs in one. Are you referring to the song 'Yes'? I think it is a good song up until the point it sounds as if a new song has started playing.
