I sent off postcard #2 today! I'm so happy that I actually got both of them done... I hope they appreciate it, since I had to wake up really early on my first day of winter break and walk in freezing cold weather in order to mail it :P The things I do for them :dozey:

How is he so damn awesome at concerts?! *tears hair out* :freak: PS- At my concert in October, he kinda stumbled around the stage at the end of Viva la Vida singing some extra notes, then lay down and rolled down the ramp, and flipped back up as Lost! started :D It was quite impressive, I have it on video somewhere :thinking:

This is why I love this forum! :hug: Yeah, see all of my friends will only listen to "unheard of" music... I used to kinda be like that too, and I still don't listen to "popular music", but I realize that just because a band is well-known, that's no reason to hate them, and it doesn't make them bad, for god's sake! At my school we're like 100% "indie kids", but luckily most of us don't think like my friend... And I think that Coldplay's biggest problem is that people listen to them with preconceived notions. I mean, she's saying they're bland after listening to VLVOD?! That's ridiculous! She's just taking the stuff people have said about them for years and blindly repeating it. :rolleyes: But in other news, my other friend whom I've been trying to get hooked on Coldplay just recorded a video for me on my facebook wall, and it consisted of her singing along to Viva la Vida :P She knew all the words, I'm so proud! :wacky: Brainwashing complete :sneaky:

Phew, just finished postcard #2! I'll post it here in the morning, but it's not very exciting, it's my touristy DC one that I bought at the National Gallery... I'll mail it tomorrow :) On the back I rambled about how Chris studied Ancient World Studies, and how I want to be a Classicist... From one nerd to another, I suppose! :P
