So this confirms that the song will indeed have its world premiere when the radio stations play it (10 am chicago time), so that means that it will first be available here probably not before friday evening. Got it! No waiting around for it to drop at midnight, that´s for sure.

I had no idea a Soundcloud link was a download link. I thought Soundcloud was only a streaming service? Then again I have rarely used it so don´t know.

I kinda get why the soundcloud links were taken down, but barely, as the exact same preview is freely available legally on iTunes and anyone can access it on the web link.

Yes I stopped listening to the preview, but it is out LEGALLY on the New Zealand iTunes Store though? :O Will you guys be releasing it on each iTunes Store at the start of September 6 in each time zone? :O

iTunes New Zealand link gives me hope that it will after all be released tomorrow morning or wait wait maybe this evening at midnight here in Denmark!! :earmuffs: :earmuffs: So perhaps only 11 hours away?? Could it be??

I knew it...It was a worldwide premiere, so we will have to wait until Friday evening for Atlas to be released on the iTunes Store :/ Oh well, the radio premiere is always fun to follow together with other Coldplayers :) :gossip:

I agree. As it is tied in with Hunger Games, I would actually be quite surprised if the premiere was NOT done on an american radio, but tomorrow all my questions will be answered hehe I also do not understand the pre-order link ONLY on the UK iTunes Store. I swear Atlas release is really one messy affair :)

As it is a song from an american film, it would not surprise me if the first airing would be done on an american radio station to be honest, but hey I hope I am wrong and I hope to be seeing the song pop up on my iTunes friday morning :)

Hmm The article though reads "listen to the new Coldplay song for the first time ever". Does that perhaps hint to a worldwide exclusive? Good morning Tash! Thanks for the recap :) That would be great news for UK fans only though, as the track is released on friday everywhere else right? So theoretically I should be able to download it from iTunes on Friday morning, quite a few hours before the chicago radio broadcast...

It´s only on the UK iTunes as a pre-order, and obviously the preview will probably not unlock until September 8th. Hopefully tomorrow pre-orders might show up on other iTunes stores...I hope!
