  1. Hmm...hard one! A huge tie between Birds, Hymn and Adventure perhaps. But this is one of those albums I usually listen from start to finish :)
  2. Rose Bowl gig on video
  3. I hope so too! I´ve not seen them either. Here´s to hoping we´ll both see them again, perhaps in 2017? :)
  4. Hey there :) Thanks, Diego. Im afraid I may not be "back" per se. Im still busy :/ But Im checking the forums when I can :) Hope all is well with you and that you got to see the boys live! :D
  5. Thanks for the great review! I am moving out myself from the only place I´ve ever lived in as an adult, so I know exactly what you mean regarding the stress, packing and the emotional stress! I am so glad you had that beautiful concert to give you much needed energy and joy! I´ve not been able to see Coldplay live this tour yet, but watching the Rose Bowl show on video was a special treat: they always have this wonderful way of providing the silver lining just when you need it, no matter how dark the situation :)
  6. I enjoyed reading your review. Thanks for posting! And I so agree on the above. It has become increasingly hard to find wholesome entertainment, so much so that it´s now almost a rarity. Another reason, if we ever need more haha, to be a proud Coldplay fan :)
  7. I see both the Smilies and Coldplay smilies options, but no smilies at all are showing up for me now..maybe a temporary site error?
  8. Just finished watching it all. WOW! What an amazing tour and such a great gig in L.A! Really great audience: well done guys, to whoever was present yesterday, fantastic experience! Thanks for singing extra loud for those who were not physically there :) I hope to be catching them live next year! :)
  9. Oh yes I remember both Radio 1 and Glasto, but yes I meant a "proper" AHFOD non-Festival gig, so this was the first one, thanks for confirming :) So great to finally be able to see the new choreography and all and the full show! :)
  10. I´ve not been able to follow anything Coldplay for many months :/ So Im asking you guys: is this the first "professional" live video we get of a concert in the AHFOD tour? I remember listening to Copenhagen live "professional" broadcast via radio, but it was only audio.
  11. Thanks so much for alerting about this link!! I can wake up and see the concert, while I was there yesterday in spirit! :)Thanks again!
  12. *TICKETS SALE* If someone still misses tickets or needs a couple more, I have updated my listing to: TWO tickets seats great view for $100 (for both) Section 19-L row 42 seat 1-2 Instant shipping via email.
  13. Oh yes you´re good with those riddles, much better than I ever was haha I miss you guys too :/ Thanks for letting me know about their next round: I did not know they were gonna do that! I hope to be able to catch that then :)
  14. Hey Nie :) Nice to see you too! I´ve been buried in work, no time for anything :/ I hope you get to see them live. Maybe I will be able to catch a future date, who knows. Thanks for your best wishes. I hope I sell them as well, it´d be sad if they went to waste! Hope all is well with you! *hugs*
  15. Hey guys, hope you all have a great time at the concert! I won't be able to join you as I had planned to :((( Just wanted to let you know I have two tickets for sale if any of you need them, excellent seats. More info click on this post Have a wonderful time and sing extra loud on my behalf! ;)
  16. Just wanted to post here quickly. My life is crazy busy again so no time to be on the forum :/ hope you guys are all well and hope to see you here again soon hopefully! Big Coldplay hugs, Leo
  17. Writing this quickly from my phone. My life has gotten crazy again :/ not sure when I'll be able to be online again regularly, maybe soon maybe not :/ Not sure if you guys were talking about the next party, but I thought of dropping a line to say it's ok if @gai or others want to take over the thread to continue the listening parties. Hope to see you all again on the forum soon! Greetings, Leo
  18. Oh I agree its hard! More often than not its only when life forces you to see that your perspective is incomplete or inaccurate that you are actually motivated to look deeper. I think its just the way the human mind works...it likes patterns, boxes and somewhat fixed rules, it likes stability. If such a radical group exists, it would know very well how to take advantage of human psychology and use it against us...:/ In my case I can say I used to be quite fixed in my views about many things, I would tolerate other points of view but inwardly know that "Im right" hehe Then life threw me many a curved balls to the point that I had to revise stance and really accept that you never have the full picture about anything. The best you can do is draw your own conclusions based on what you know/see. So that has "forced" me to search deeper, question everything (almost hehe) and reduced my preconceived judgements. I found this approach to have been most effective though to get as close as you can get to "the truth" about things. That doesn't mean I believe everything I hear or read , hardly, but I try to look at it like an alien would lol....dispassionately. And it can be a hard exercise as we are certainly not born and raised in a vacuum, but are influenced all the time to see things a certain way. And no Im not familiar with the 16 types thing? I did read briefly Jung during my psychology class though :) As for intuition though I use it daily and include it in my decisions. Without it I would have very little chance to have an opinion about ANYTHING haha As lets face it as individuals we have very very little first hand knowledge about anything and even that sometimes is hard to interpret.
  19. It does leave a scar losing or not having one or both parents, a scar that really never heals, however you do find a way to cope. There is not a day that goes by where I don't wish for both my parents to have always been there, but the plus side of the difficult things in life is that you grow stronger because of it. I hope your parent is still with you in your heart as mine are with me. *hugs* That must be a tough yet wonderful job! I can only imagine how hard it must be for a child to be an orphan! I was raised and loved by my foster mum immediately after my parents passed away, so I always had a loving adult to take care of me, but yes any loss is so very hard for a child, whether its one or both parents. Oh and yes I totally know they still "live", not in a physical body, but I know they do :)
  20. My favorite lyrics today. More relevant now than ever.... "When the future´s architectured by a carnival of idiots on show....you better lie low" together with "They got 1 eye watching u 1 eye on what u do So be careful who it is u talking to So be careful cuz nothing they say is true"
  21. So much for all Super Bowl viewers hating Coldplay :sneaky::sneaky::sneaky: I bet a few hearing the songs went: What in God´s name is that amazing song I never heard in the radio nestled between 4 plays of Adele Hello and 5 plays of Bieber? LOL
  22. Tsk tsk got to support your local library :) Go go :D
  23. Did anyone else notice the Coldplay official site was overloaded with high traffic at some point ? They had to change the front page. Kinda cool
  24. I noticed a clear tendency now in my Coldplay "music diet" hehe As much as I loved X&Y and Viva when they came out and I still love the songs when I listen to them now, I seem to constantly gravitate towards a steady diet of MX + AHFOD + GS. Like when Im happy and just fine I go to MX or AHFOD, when my mood is lower and I want something quiet and melancholic or when Im downright sad I go to GS. The pattern is pretty much unchanged. Very rarely do I purposefully go and listen to older songs and when I do Viva invariably gets preferred to older albums. So whats up with this? LOL its not because I was not crazy about X&Y for a long time cuz I was and Viva as well! But I don't know something must have happened from MX onwards that make me go back to them again and again. It could be personal as the best years of my life ever hands down are from 2011 onwards haha Or it could be musically, not sure... But yeah I was wondering if Im turning into a proper Newplayer? LOL
  25. Public library maybe? Here we have magazines from all over the world, many more than are sold in newsagents! :) Worth checking? :)
