I think Chris just wrote what he wanted to write. which turned out f'in amazing lol. once again i do believe Coldplay is better than Radiohead. Chris wrote an amzing album. Maybe he was more determined to write such a great album because of all the critics comments. to that degree i agree with you.

im not a fan of Radiohead at all. lets just say that to begin my biased opinion lol. Thom Yorkes voice is terrible in my mind. Coldplay are better in virtually everything they do.those "crazy sounds" aren't exactly patented by Radiohead. They were not the first ones to make cool sounds. Chris Martin will be the first to tell you that they "idolize"Radiohead, in my opinion Coldplays albums and songs especially the lyrics, are better written. so to answer your question,no,i dont think this cd was to gain Radioheads respect. this is just my opinion not an attack on you.

im actually completely obsessed with them. my fav. band of all time. no one will ever be better in my mind. roger waters is a genious. for some reason Coldplay reminds of them. have no idea why though. moresoe with their new album. maybe the writing quality? i dont know but their my all time faves.

hockey floor is about the same size. im a huge fan of hockey by the way, so glad my wings won the cup, been a fan for 8 years. anyways they play basketball and hockey in the same stadium, they dont really remove any of the seats so its about the same size i think.

i just got some presale seats which just happen to be on the floor in section 4. i took the first available, but a basketball floor isnt that big even if you are on the opposite end, you can see pretty well. plus im tall enough lol.

I have to say VLVODAAHF is their best album. the only one that makes you think very deeply into what the message the boys are trying to say. much like classic rock bands which im usually more into, but coldplay is moving up on my list very quickly. especially with this cd. by the way what is with the obsession of AROBTTH on this board? all the songs seem to be about the same thing to me, but Green Eyes is an amazing song. anyways, Hi!
