Do you like Princess of China?
I like this song as a song by Rhianna...not Coldplay. She sings more on it than Chris.

Rate "Up in Flames"
Worst song on the album as far as I'm concerned. The only part that is "ok" is the short 20 seconds Jonny has his guitar playing. The electronic drum beat is annoying, and the lyrics are too repetitive for my liking. I had a non coldplay fan listen to the album with me, and even he pointed out that this song was the worst one on the album.

06-Aug-09: Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion, Raleigh, NC - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews, Setl
I was going to go to this, but I can't afford to drive there or get tickets. For whoever posts a set list, its pretty obvious that Billie Jean is part of the set list now, so there is no point in people saying "Oh, well, Billie Jean replaced I'm A Believer again" because its been over a month now...Of course, I'm sure there will be some smart ass that will do it now, but I'm just voicing my opinion. Personally, I'm kinda bummed that they haven't changed the set list. I mean if I went, The only new song would be Billie Jean for me, all the rest is the same. I love Coldplay to death, but come on now, they have alot of other great hits that aren't being played, and they could switch a few songs up here and there from time to time. Them not changing the set list kinda helps with the pain in not going, but at the same time....

I had a great time here even though I was back in section 304. I had a great batch of people around me even though they weren't very talkative (good, I wanted to hear the damn songs!) I saw your signs up front girls! During Yellow, a barage of ballons came down on us, and I tried popping one to get the confetti out, but there was a breeze that took all the ballons to the right. I was surprised when they sent confetti even where we were....so I finally got some! All four of them ran by me when they went back to the lawn to play back there. It was just an awesome night! I wish I went ahead and got a damn pit ticket now, cause I could of easily been up with liz, lol, cause I was there, but I just hung by the stairs sweating my ass off in that beating sun. If you guys saw a car in the handicapped spots with 50004 on the sides, that was me :) I'm debating on trying to go to the Hershey park show...but the weather might keep me from trying. If I don't go, I'll go down to where I used to live, and hopefully move back down to, near Raleigh, NC in August. I am still on a Coldplay high even 26 hours later. I finally got a couple of butterflies (nothing like the THOUSANDS that SOME people got, haha, roflmao). I was really really hoping for a signed copy of LRLRL, but no luck. I got a tweet on the phone while waiting to get in, and my eyes lit up like...hmmmm! Some drunk fuck probably got it, and lost the damn thing in between their seat cushions. I didn't like Chris telling us that they weren't going to be back for a couple of years though....that was a bit of a drag! Oh well, thats my little story. There was a cute girl working there that I wouldn't of mind having...but other than that, I just got a bunch of smiles from the single ladies, haha. There was a couple behind me that the guy kissed the girl, and the girl looked at me like OMG, this is my boyfriend, and he is about to get dumped! Good luck with that!

Thanks, I'll be sure to have fun. I found thier plane on Flightaware, they are due in to Dulles @ 1656. So the band should be at the pavillion around 1730 (530PM). Hopefully we'll get to hear a good sound check! I'm heading out of here shortly, so I'll give my report when I get home. I'll be sending a few tweets in as well, Galaxy5007 is my twitter name.

Good morning everyone! What a wonderful day to go see Coldplay! I live in Frederick right now, and I'm leaving here around 3, and going to camp out of my car till the doors open. I'm a disabled vet, so I'll be in a handicapped spot. Hopefully that'll put me fairly close to the doors. I'm in section 304 in row A. I can't stand for long periods of time, which is why I didn't get a pit ticket. Anyways, I'm excited! This is my first concert going solo though :(

Coldplay won't be on till 9. A band called the Howling Bells open for them, and probably come on at 7.

I'm going alone this time. I went with my wife back on Halloween, but since then, she cheated on me and we split because of it. So now I'm single and going to enjoy the music alone. Maybe I'll get lucky and meet a nice woman, haha. I can't wait! Weather looks good for the show as well!

Section 228, row F seats 7 and 8 for us. I kept trying for 121 and 112, but nothing ever came up. I tried for two hours (10-12) trying to get decent lower concourse seats, and it was all 113 back. 9 times out of 10 I got like the back of 104-109...screw that! So we just went with the higher-closer view from 228. I bought tickets for 215 as well before buying the 228s, so I'll have to e-bay them off to someone. I don't care for ticketmasters way of picking seats, thats for sure.

When I go to the radio 1 site, and try to play something, it says its not available in your area. I call BS on it! BTW, Life in Technicolor will surely be the opener song. I don't think they'll close with Fix You this time...they'll pick something from the new album. Hopefully they play GPASUYF and Clocks. I would love to hear another Live Daylight, but I have my doubts they would play it. Have fun everyone thats going!

Somebody record the concert for us US folks! We can't listen online! Totally sucks! We couldn't hear the album before when it was on myspace either! I want to hear them live though for sure...so somebody please record it and make it available to us! I will be going to one of their concerts, but not till they show up in North Carolina! Hopefully they have plans for such in 09!
