maybe Viva La Vida are all the tracks they wanted to use for the album (the 'living ones'), and Death and All His Friends are the ones they decided not to use ('dead tracks'), but decided to give them to us anyways.....and maybe they wanted to see what we thought of both, seeing if their decisions were the right ones.. I haven't seen on any thread that this is probably what the new album artwork looks like for Violet Hill's single....if I missed it, sorry. Also the cover for the vinyl has different font than the last three albums and everything else Coldplay...do you think they're changing their font? It'd be a tough change since they've had the other for so long.
