  1. what brand??? Topshop...LOL Well Done Nicole you must be really chuffed..:) P.
  2. Dusseldorf sounds amazing...looks like the band was on fire...hopeing it will hold until tomorrow night. Coldplay's gigs are the least "show" I have seen for a big band in a long time. In general I also prefer smaller gigs to stadium gigs just because when you move to stadium you do have to have more show elements in there because the places are just soooo huge. But as saw Take That and U2 Stadium gigs this year I am pretty sure that Coldplay has the least show in the stadium. Did Chris get his chocolate for the shirt then? P.
  3. 1530 am Stadion...Du musst ja ganz schoen schnell dann gewesen sein. P. :)
  4. you know guys you slightly start to freak me out... go and get something to eat whoever hasn't eaten today...you know you can leave the computer the photos which will be posted will be still there when you come back and tomorrow and in a weeks time. P.
  5. Not sure what is more annoying that people wright such rubbish or actually people believing such rubbish. Gwyn the Yoko Ono of Coldplay..sorry she doesn't involve herself even 1% in the band...so where you take this things from, because she is married to the front men or because she is famous? P.
  6. something dogy is going on as the blog was posted at approx. 1030 am, but nothing came via twitter or facebook. So, I am sure somehwere in the backround some strange things are going on. P.
  7. Shuttle Bus..... can you not walk??? Or I mean are the parking spaces far away??? P.
  8. I think the main problem here is that the band themselves said that a. they should play longer at stadium gig b. said since beginning of the year that they going to change the set list. If they would never have said anything nobody really would say anything. Personally I think that they wanted to do that but I guess that Chris ongoing problems it's better to leave it like it is. Otherwise I agree, they don't own us anything and nobody forces us to go to more then one gig or read all about the gigs prior to it. About Chris, he is a little drama queen like most frontmen in bands. About the walking of stage nobody really knows why he walked off. I saw plenty of bands in my life where the frontman is gone for a few minutes because of mic or monitoring issues. P.
  9. I think that is normal when you don't know what to expect and when you just don't know what it will be like it always will be more special. I remember when I saw Robbie williams 2003 at Knebworth...it totally blew my socks off and every concert afterwards couldn't get close to it. P. :)
  10. me too...but the thruth of it is that CP are playing for 50 000 - 80 000 and only like 1% of them will have known the set list before or goes to more then one gig. The length of it is actually quite long with 23 songs...think U2 played 22 on friday and 24 on Saturday. But hey, they soundcheck White Shadows since May what about actually playing it.....:) But nobody forces us to go to more then one show or to read all about the gigs before. P.
  11. I think you can look into planning permissions publicy. Guess the 33 room bit is which the papers "made" up guess they included each utility room in the counting. Knowing english houses I doubt very much that those two houses will have 33 proper rooms. But anyways...as someone said its their money and I won't do anything different if I would have the money. P.
  12. Hi there, does anybody know how the parking situation is at the venue e.g. are there car parks near by and how quickly will it clear off after the gig? P.
  13. @Fraetes - re your signature...Coldplay are not playing Wembley Arena...they are playing the stadium...:) P.
  14. At U2 the boxoffice for ticket collection opened at 11 am on both dates so more then plenty of time to pick up the tickets. P.
  15. oh, I am rather excited...and sooo glad they finally back in Europe!!!!
  16. I was ok as I am quite tall anyway. but from the main stage we were quite a bit away. I actually enjoyed the show yesterday more and I was standing quite far back in front of the sound booth but I think the U2 show is actually better to watch it from further away otherwise you don't really see the whole stage and lighting. P.
  17. That's good - still annoyed that U2 didn't manage to get proper souvinor tickets designed for £62.00 per ticket. I actually queued on Friday from around 1 pm and was at the outer ring 5th row. Have to say the whole organisation in wembley was brilliant!!!! P.
  18. by the way, it seems only Will been to see U2....plus you don't need days to fly back to the UK from the States. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/2589710/U2-gig-at-Wembley-Stadium-is-unforgettable.html P.
  19. oh, at least you can still count them...I lost count loooong time ago. :) P.
  20. Did they delivery it via royal mail or via secure (or however this company is called)? P.
  21. God knows, don't have my tickets yet...as usual ticketmaster is messing it up! Will have to pick them up on Friday at the box office. P.
  22. If Chris or anybody would have been diagosed with swine flu - Jonny (or chloe) would be allowed on a plane. P.
  23. Well, I just think they don't say anything because there is nothing to say at the moment. I am sure they working at the moment to sort this all out but things like this takes time, long time. I am sure as soon it's sorted they will update us. But personally I don't expect that this gig will happend this week or anytime soon. Petra
  24. They cover the pitch...mainly because at the end of the day ..it's a football stadium and they can't have the pitch in a mess and runied after every gig there is. LOL by the way, also around the pitch a sort of water fountains for drinking water...so no worry you won't need to buy water. Otherwise I saw at the TT gigs that people brought their own food (sandwiches, crisps etc.). If you buy in the stadium anything to eat prepare for paying a small fortune. I might know more after next weekend....going to see both U2 shows and planning to kind of queue for one of them from around midday. P.
