  1. sometimes...seriously..if you go to gigs things can go wrong if you want to listen some perfectly buy a CD and DVD as simple as that. P.
  2. I don't mind Girls Aloud...they have some good pop songs out there which are fun...so quite looking forward to seeing them. P.
  3. Personally I couldn't care less what other let alone tabloids think about them. I think the more attention you give to thinks the more they will write about it. Not everybody likes Coldplay - which is fine. P.
  4. and I always wonder who are actually those people who leave comments on newspaper reports....:) P.
  5. that they dedicate this to hoppy - 10 year anniversery with the band see also R42 Blog on http://www.coldplay.com Hoppy is Jonny's Guitar backline technican. P.
  6. have to disagree slighlty, gigs in scotland you def. have a brilliant crowd. London crowd can be quite difficult I found at times even with big artists in big venue's, sometimes I think down here some people can be quite snoopy in the audience. P.
  7. grrr - no offence but do we really really need a topic for this!!! let alone discuss it again! The ring is not on his finger since like a year and as far as I know Gwyn doesn't wear it either since months. But as said don't think there is the need for a topic on this!!! P.
  8. That would be fine me with...but this bloody drumkit is in the way most of the time...:)
  9. Nooooooo - we do need more Guy pictures or Guy/Chris Picturess!!!! P.
  10. it will be more like muse def. not like festivals...as it is in a stadium. Guess there will be the FOS area, then barrier and then the rest of the standing area. Timings etc. are not published yet - guess White Lies will get 30 min. GA and Jay Z an hour! P.
  11. The only thing I would add is that when CP came on stage that Chris saw pretty early on our Happy Birthday Phil Banner, smiled & noded and looked to Guy, who then also had a "little Guy smile" on his face.....:) I just loved Chris at the gig esp. because no banner was for him. P.
  12. Oh, I am sure they will be back to Barcelona...think they quite like it there anyway - did they not do the church recordings in barcelona for VLV. ? P.
  13. I think they totally appreciated honest opinion from their audience however things can always go wrong which shouldn't go wrong if the main speakers fail a bigger speaker won't make a different when it won't work. I know its easy said cause it is always a shame for the people who are there but things even if done 100times before can go wrong! and I am pretty sure there is nobody more pissed of then them about it. (guess Chris had a big trantrum last night....) P.
  14. In Munich last week he sounded absolutley fine to me but I also just hope that a. the two days off will give him some rest and b. that it all holds up til 19th and c. that he hasn't done anything stupid which will hold him up from touring in the future. P.
  15. oh, gosh..it really seems like one of the main speakers was out of order...that's rubbish..dont' think if they stopped playing people would be happy either plus you have to look at the curfew etc. Personally I don't think they recorded it for a DVD anyways...as normally you record shows for release where you have two nights just in case on of the nights somethings go wrong...which they did! Guess they won't be in a happy bunny mood today....wonders what R42 will write about it. P.
  16. On a lighter note...I find it always quite refreshing when things go wrong on a long tour stops them from being to comfortable which I had the feeling CP is getting...:) P.
  17. not sure what went on last night. but the difficulties with stadium esp. those who are not cut out to be used for gigs that you have area's in the stadium where the sound can sound really bad which the bands most ot the time don't hear so they can be not aware of the problem if nobody tells them. I mean normally soundchecks sort out this problem but not always or things go wrong on the night... pricewise I find Coldplay quite resonable compared to other bands/artists. Sometimes is not even the artists which make up those prices as for example I found the ticket prices in germany much more expensive then in England but then in Germany we do have some stupid taxes which are put on the selling prices. So, the stadium they played last night is this actually used for gigs normally? Don't think U2 played there when they play barcelona? P.
  18. sometimes to look at official website helps you know.... http://www.wembleystadium.com/default.aspx
  19. Level 1 seat are unreserved...but you still need to get there by 4 pm as the seats esp. the good seats are gone by 430 pm. P.
  20. oh, I think they will queue overnight ...totally forgot about them. But teenage girls (guess that's GA's fanbase) will queue overnight no quesiton about that! P.
  21. Can this thread maybe go to the Denmark Concert thread - guess that would be a better place for it. Ta, Petra
