  1. When they play it live do they still have the persistent ebow sound through the entire song?
  2. I can't explain why, but I feel like it's about King Richard the Lionheart during the Crusades.

Wow! that sucks. I hope your brother gets coal in his stocking this year.
  4. 1. First related Coldplay memory? Hearing Yellow on the radio and not knowing who it was by. I thought at first that it was Dave Matthews and felt really disappointed in myself for liking a Dave Matthews song. Lucky for me it wasn't Dave Matthews and that it would lead to discovering a great band. 2. Have you ever seen the band live in concert, if so where? Once. Atlanta Georgia at the Phillips Arena for the X&Y tour. 3.a Favorite Coldplay album? Viva la Vida b. Favorite Coldplay song? Fix You c. Favorite Coldplay video? The Scientist 4. Most treasured Coldplay item in your collection? I don't have any memorobilia, except for a concert t. So that I guess 5. What was your craziest fanatic moment regarding Coldplay (ie. did you have to go at great lengths to see them live? did you do something really dramatic to defend Coldplay? etc etc.) I forget what had happend, but I was not able to buy tickets when they went on sale for the X&Y tour, so I ended up getting them through Encore Tickets and spent $600 for two tickets. Totally worth it though.

What? At their house? Well, I'm sure I speak for many here when I say, "Congratulations you son of a bitch"
  6. For the most part the setlists won't vary by much. This is the setlist from Monday (14/7/08). Life In Techicolor Violet Hill Clocks In My Place Viva La Vida 42 Yes The Scientist Chinese Sleep Chant God Put A Smile Upon My Face Square One Speed Of Sound Trouble Lost Strawberry Swing Yellow Death Will Never Conquer Fix You Lovers In Japan Encore Death And All Of His Friends The Escapist The only difference on Tuesday was that instead of Trouble they played What if So for the most part, they will probably stick to this or something very similar. I think I saw that the concerts were about an hour and a half or a little more.
  7. I'm wondering the same thing. Thanks for the pictures busybeeburns. Those are fantastic. :D
  8. When you're in a POW camp hoping that you see your love again. Dreaming about being with them out in the sun of an exotic locale once again.
  9. Today: Lovers in Japan
  10. That's my exact top 3 as well. You have impeccable taste.
  11. I'm 29 Have liked Coldplay since I was 22.
  12. When I listen to the album, I have to listen to the whole thing together. It feels to me like listening to Dark Side of the Moon. I know they probably won't play the whole album in order, but this is a dream setlist right? Set 1 01) Talk 02) Scientist 03) Politik 04) Spies 05) In My Place 06) Clocks 07) Proof 08) Fix You Set 2 09) Life in Technicolor 10) Cemeteries of London 11) Lost 12) 42 13) Lovers in Japan / Reign of Love 14) Yes / Chinese Sleep Chant 15) Viva La Vida 16) Violet Hill 17) Strawberry Swing 18) Death and all his Friends / Escapist Encore 19) Square One 20) Yellow
  13. I don't think there is a single song on the album (or sub song) that isn't amazing. Lovers in Japan was probably one of the first to stick out to me though. Sometimes I listen to it and just focus on the e-bowed guitar and let it take me away.
