It just makes you live your life feeling guilty and miserable, my father wasn't a Religious man but my mother is and I've never gotten on with her even when I was small but I still had religion forced on me and perhaps I feel more strongly because of that but I just don't believe it at all, I don't view life as expendable but I wouldn't say I have a great fear of not being in existance anymore one day.

I had a Catholic upbringing and I don't think looking back now I ever believed any of it, I just don't think there is an afterlife and I don't think there is a God I also don't think there is Satan either, it would be far easier for mankind to think there was rather than face the fact that human beings in general are capable of being very evil, I do think there is good and evil though but believe it's more to do with having morals than pleasing or dis pleasing a God.

You have to admit though it's an ugly, slow eco statement, I would be all for owning a hybrid if it was actually a decent car, the Prius falls very short of this, and hey maybe some people like thier SUVS:embarassed: I agree entirely with you about the need for alternatives to oil powered cars, I think the trouble will be with the world deciding on what fuel will be the standard like gasoline/diesel is today, I would be more in favour of the hydrogen route as Bio fuels need huge areas of crop space to be grown which could be used for food, something that we will need all we can get of with a booming population and peak oil looming on the horizon, I've painted a horrible picture of the future now:cry:

Brighton is a really cool city because of the reasons you mentioned, you have regular clubs and gay clubs and we go to our places and straights to thiers and it's calm without hostility from either, people don't look at you funny sometimes if you hold hands or kiss in public like a straight couple, in fact I'm selling Brighton up to myself maybe I should live there one day?. I've always thought that were all human beings and sexuality is such a small part of what makes up a person.

I've never liked the idea of those marches or shouting to anyone who will listen about my sexuality, it's pretty easy for me acting normally because I dress,look and act a very girlie girl so people don't assume it of me because I don't fit the stereotype, much like so so many gay guys arn't camp etc.For me if someone asks me about my sexuality I will be honest as I'm not ashamed of it, I'm just not proud either.
