Didn't you know?, anyone who doesn't think Coldplay are the greatest thing ever and wants to marry Chris and have his babies is automatically evil and kills kittens.

I can't actually remember now,still I don't post in the Coldplay section and I'm not going to change my opinion just to please others.

Seeing as I've played an instrument since the age of 6,am well versed in theory as well as playing and am doing a musical production degree I would say I'm qualified enough to hold an opinion on Johnny Bucklands ability with the instrument. I don't personally have anything against Coldplay and am glad people enjoy them but I'm not going to heap praise on a band I don't consider to be very good.

You can feel whatever you like, I find him very dull, Buckland does rape a guitar all the time by playing it in such a bland,emotionless basic manner that hasn't really evolved at all.

99% of all people I listen to write thier own music, in terms of musical ability thier Guitar and Bass player arn't very talented, even alot of Coldplay fans concede Buckland isn't a particularly good guitarist, and I don't think any of thier songs are particularly good this is mine and many others opinions, I'm entitled to them just as you are entiled to yours.

That's true, I can also see him following my comment up with: "But if they wern't very good then why would they be so popular?" Even though he constantly bashes pop artists who are just as popular if not more and says thier music is terrible even though they sell as many if not more records than Coldplay.

But maybe you should accept it that quite a few people are of the opinion that thier not very good, if they phrase it politely then what's the problem?.

I think Radiohead are decent but I'm by no means a huge fan.I think Coldplay are extremly lacking in the talent department when it comes to thier Guitar and Bass player.

Plus it's always the same people blindly leaping to thier defence, even if the criticizm is well founded :rolleyes:.

I'm going to a party which the tickets wern't particularly expensive for but I'm definatly going to avoid the cliched kiss your partner at midnight thing, that just irritates me, house parties can be good, I've always been reluctant to have one in case it got out of hand though.

:laugh3: The thing I hate with New Years Eve parties is thier always hyped up to be really good and thier overpriced because it's New Year and they always end up being pretty mundane.

That's pretty much what I do, I just always end up going out on Christmas Eve though so I don't feel too good until the afternoon on Christmas Day, then I usually go and see friends, one thing I do like about Christmas Day is that eerie quietness everywhere it makes a change from the business of the weeks leading up to it.

I do give presents to people and all of that but I find Christmas very faulse as really it's a holiday for people to celebrate the birth of an important figure in thier Religion and I don't belive in that Religion, I just don't particularly like the whole Christmas thing much, I'm not miserable about it it just doesn't interest me.

Can't she get caught doing something interesting like get caught jumping on top of her bf,driving the wrong way down a motorway, while doing a line of coke or some other legend worthy rock and roll action that's actually newsworhty.

I don't particularly like Christmas, in fact I haven't enjoyed one Christmas since I was about 10, still at least I don't have to go to boring and pointless Chruch services anymore.

I'm not bothering with a tree, nor am I having Turkey, in fact Christmas day will probably involve watching TV, some Chinese food and a bad hangover.
