idk I think that you should be thankful that anyone at your school likes them. A few years ago, when people would ask who my favorite band was.. I was always kind of embarrased to say that it was Coldplay.. because people would give me dirty looks as if to say "oh they're shit" At least now, more people know about them and like them... so I think it's good that they have more fans.. even if some of them are "posers."
