Same here! Of course I would have loved to have gotten the uber set, but after what Paul McGuinness said this past June in Rolling Stone and after how much they charged for it, I said Paul can stick it where the sun don't shine!

I don't know how big a U2 fan you are or how much you have read about them, but if you would like to know more "behind the scenes" then you're going to have to read about it. Their history has already been hashed and re-hashed out many times over the years in several books. I recommend reading "U2: At The End of the World" by Bill Flanagan. That was the U2 Bible about the band and behind the scenes during the Zoo TV tour until the book "U2 by U2" (by U2) came out. Also there is a book called "U2 Into The Heart - The stories behind every song" by Niall Stokes. Maybe that's why they didn't go through the whole story...it would take too long. From The Sky Down was more about the death of the Joshua Tree, and then transitioning into and finding their new sound for their next album. Basically how was Achtung Baby conceived...not what you were hoping it was. And that if the band had never created One and had not discovered their new sound, it was going to be U2's death nail. That one song was a huge pivot point in their history...that's why there was such a huge focus on it in the movie. Happy Reading! ;)

Exactly my thought. I didn't go to the second night of the Police because I heard the set list was exactly the same each night. Glad I didn't bother...friends said it was the same. Anyway...I'm torn if I should wait or not. Doubt my friends would double up...but only if there was any news that it will be a different set list...then maybe.

Howdy Y'all!!! Got my tickets yesterday in the pre-sale. I guess they're OK...they're just cheap seats. The best I could get was... Section 318 Row J Now the interesting thing was that on my tickets it said ***END STAGE SEATS***. Does anyone know what that means? My guess is an upper deck stage for the guys??? If so, I think I'm gonna pass out! And yes, I would love to hook up with the Dallas gang in here too! Also, my first Coldplay show was at the AAC during Viva as well! Then the following summer I saw them at Starplex and was front row center in the pit! I also was the one that threw the cowboy hat up on stage and Guy put it on! YEEEEE HAAAAAW!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

AMEN!!! I love his curly locks too! And by the way, don't hold your breath. Remember last year? He shaved it around this time, and for some reason by November it barely grew out. It was still too short for me. I'm just glad I saw him from the front row this summer. :shocked2: :tongue: :wink3:

Yeah...I take myself too when I need it...just not everyday. And Allegra is my real name. Those bastards stole it! That's why I put "And no, not the medicine" under my name. I too hope Chris is OK! I wonder if it's this stomach bug that's going around. My 3 year old got sick yesterday and threw up 11 times in a little over 24 hours. Tonight was his first meal since yesterday morning. I think he's coming around, and he's finally keeping his food down. Whew! If this is what Chris has, I can totally understand! My son has been glued to the couch for 24 hours straight. I know traveling like they do is very hard...even for the rich and healthy. I do hope Chris gets well soon, and I hope all of those who are stuck out there get your show back soon as well.

I know! Well, I wished I had brought my camera because I was so close, but I know that since I was so close, I probably would have had the worst pics ever. :lol: I need to learn how to set my camera to the highest sports setting. I've been able to take great shots of my kid with the flash off because he'll allow me to get them, but not Chris. There's no way! I'm glad I didn't waste my time messing with it. I think people that were a little further back from the rail got way better shots than I could have. You know...the further you're away from Chris the less blurry he becomes. I just really hate the delay I have on my digital camera. Sometimes I really miss my old 35mm. And of course they don't allow high powered cameras in only if you can sneek one in. I'm pretty sure that there are better pocket cameras out there than my 2004 Canon. I just can't see spending another $300. It still feels like I just bought the last one. Oh well.

This is the second time now that one of my comments are missing on Coldplay's Twitpics. I was only able to view one of the last two comments over on Twitter.com. The last one I just posted a few minutes ago doesn't appear on either Twitpic or on Twitter. I wonder if there is too much traffic on it because Coldplay now has over a million followers, and I still see the same comments I saw last night on their last Twitpic. Impossible! So that tells me that I can't be the only one missing comments under Coldplay's Twitpics. Just curious...is anyone else having this problem? :\
