  1. Gwyneth responds to critics http://omg.yahoo.com/news/gwyneth-paltrow-on-her-web-site-critics-don-t-really-get-it/19372?nc NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. -- Gwyneth Paltrow is responding to critics who are attacking her lifestyle Web site, Goop.com. The New York Times published an article earlier this week that questioned the site's relevance and asked, "why is she suddenly on TV giving dieting and fitness tips, backing a gym, writing a cookbook and an online newsletter full of shopping advice, kabbalistic musings and discussion of the Master Cleanse?" "I think the people who are criticizing it or criticizing the idea of it, don't really get it, because if they did, they would like it," Gwyneth told People Wednesday night at a New York City benefit for Bent On Learning, a non-profit organization that provides yoga and meditation classes in NYC public schools. The 36-year-old actress feels that her naysayers are simply afraid of something new. "I think that people like people to stay in their 'box' - they like people to stay how they are comfortable seeing them," she continued. "There's nothing incendiary about it. I find it really interesting because it's a harmless [news]letter that goes out each week," she told the mag. The actresses said she was inspired to become a Web lifestyle author "because I felt like I had a lot of really useful information that I was privileged enough to get, because I have this amazing, super, fortunate life." Adding, "My friends call me all the time to say, 'Where should I go?' or 'What should I do?' And I thought, you know maybe some other people would be interested in it as well, so I started it, and it's doing great."

  17. when i think "pop" I immeaditly think of what is really popular like a couple of hits, on the radio, disney manufactured, jonas brothers... I don't think coldplay falls into those catergory... yes they are popular, but they aren't that kind of pop. Anyways some songs of viva la vida for certain lean towards pop, but then some don't... viva is more of pop album than parachutes, a rush of blood, and x&Y too. But they did when best ROCK album which really wasn't that too much rock... i hope i made sense. Overall I don't think they are looking at the past 3 albums.

i'm not going to look at that sex and city picture.... i refuse it will scare me
  20. Yeah I watched it too on a movie channel (glad I did not end up paying for it... 10 bucks?!). Its very boring I thought. Great acting by Gwyneth and Joaquin. But the story is pretty boring and it felt really short. It's kinda like one of those artsy indies... I guess... it defnitley wouldn't appeal to a lot of people. Oh and Gwyneth at the end really f-ed up!
  21. Two Lovers is on !
