  1. an ocean of phones .... how sad :(
  2. love doing those ! here's my perfect setlist with inspiration from the actual one : A STAGE : Intro A Head Full Of Dreams Paradise Ink Yellow (Intro live 2012) Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall Birds Speed Of Sound The Scientist Everglow Lovers In Japan Hymn For The Weekend Violet Hill ---B Stage--- A Messsage Magic Army Of One ---A Stage --- A Hopeful Transmition / Don't Let It Break Your Heart Midnight Charlie Brown Amsterdam Politik Viva La Vida Adventure Of A Lifetime Talk --- C Stage--- 'Til Kingdom Come Don't Panic Cemeteries Of London True Love ---- A Stage---- Clocks Fix You A Sky Full Of Stars Up & Up O (Reprise)
  3. yeah I saw them twice, and got front row both times, but the cameras were ruining the view I had of Chris, and I want to be able to see the whole band close without those cameras ruining the view ... which is why i'm asking !
  4. okay the reason of why i'm starting this thread is mostly because when i went to see them on the MX tour ,I managed to get bareer Guy side next to the catwalk. I thought I had the best view. big mistake ! the f**** cameras couldn't let me see Chris most of the time when he was playing the piano or guitar ! which got me very frustrated. I don't wanna have the same experience again on this tour, which is why i'm asking : where should you stend on the floor in order to get a great/close enough view and where the cameras won't be standing between you and the band members ? I'm thinking of bareer B stage but i'm afraid i won't get a close view of the main stage... any suggestions ? somewhere around the catwalk ?
  5. not always. during the Viva la Vida tour, they changed their setlist a little during the course of the tour . with the MX tour, I remember after the festival tour was done, they removed Cemeteries of London, and they added Lovers in Japan instead of Lost and Don't Let It Break Your Heart instead of Politik !
  6. okay so if we are doing this : - I Agree with the remix, but they are playing it as a interlude while they are walking through the B stage, thoo - I love Army Of One, i'm glad they put it back on the setlist - favorite setlist so far, let's hope they'll put back Politik on the setlist at some point -don't EVER play Fun live, i really don't like that song - please play more from Viva la Vida or X&Y -They didn't play Asmterdam and promised they would bring the song back during the Chicago date of the MX Tour.... - would it kill them to put A Message back on the set list? It's one of their (if not THE) most beautiful song they've ever written
  7. Is anybody thinking of going to the stadium by 2 PM ? I'm going by myself and it would bc nice to have some company and people to enjoy it ! I normally always go to gigs by myself but it would be nice to enjoy Coldplay with other people :)
  8. let's be fair to the guys, when you play a song every night for years and years, and you make another tour and you just KNOW you have to play that song again, you kinda have to try to change things a little bit so playing that song won't bore you much and will still make it interesting, like how they are playing Yellow a lot faster for example ... and it's not the first time they used the intro to Midnight for another song, they also did it during the Super Bowl when the Clocks/Fix You/Up&Up started , you can hear the Midnight intro very well !
  9. agreed . for me Fix You live is Chris playing on the piano and then doing awesome dance moves on stage when the solo starts ! although i do like the edit they did with Midnight playing on the intro of the song .... nice touch !
  10. just when you listen to the outro of A Head Full Of Dreams, if you go on Itunes and play Paradise of Charlie Brown right after it, you can tell that the transition both works very well together ! , not like Yellow , but it's my opinion....
  11. it makes me wonder if Chris actually needs to play on Fix You, you can actually hear the organs in the background, makes me wonder what Chris is adding when he's sitting on the piano to play if you see what I mean XD
  12. glad to know they kept Teardrop into the setlist ! i got obsessed with that song lately ... I don't know if I wish they kept the fake setlist instead, but somehow i'm glad i don't have to hear Scientist or In My Place anymore. Sure great songs live, but they've been on their setlist ever since Rush Of Blood came out. So it's refreshing to have a setlist without those. Yellow as 2nd song ? c'mon Chris , it's one of your biggest song, save it for later ! Paradise or Charlie Brown would've been a better follow up to AHFOD .... but i'm glad they moved things up a little. Putting Fix You and Clocks earlier in the set, which is a nice change when we kept having those for the encore (even tho they are great encore songs, but it's just refreshing in my opinion) For Heroes, I reckon it's just a tribute for Bowie, they won't keep it the entire SA/EU/UK tour, i reckon they will change it for one of their own songs before the UK tour kicks off ...
  13. This setlist looks extremely good to me . I have been waiting to see the return of Amterdam on the setlist for so long ! and so keen to hear the return of 42 and Politik, but am I the only one who is shocked about Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall missing ? It's one of their most popular track and one of their most upbeat once, it's perfect for their show ! :/
  14. Hello everyone ! i don't go on this forum often - actually not at all. But i'm so stoked for the show that i figured i'd ask ... has anyone heard of a eventual changement in the setlist for the UK tour ? I've heard a rumour for "Yes" but idk if it's going to happen ... Also, for the people who are going there early and would like to meet new people, i will be there with my sister around 1 or 2 PM , French is our "native" language so if you see a guy and a girl talking French that's us , don't hesitate to go and talk to us if you are here on your own , don't worry we both speak fluent english :) (my sister is quite a character but she's nice !) you can tweet me if you want :) http://www.twitter.com/chrisdcma :)
  15. the third one is the good one ! i know it cuz i was front row and i remember when they had Cemeteries after Clocks and that Yellow was after.... and i know Chineese Sleep Chant was after Speed of Sound cuz i was calling a friend during this song and i was like "okay cuz i'm nice i will let her listenning the next song" and it was Chineese Sleep Chant ... and obviously i remember the techno version of "talk" and the zenith became a giant nightclub for 2 Minutes ha ha x)
  16. hey D-2 ! now i start to be nervous x) i don't really know actually. In Jannuary i went to Metz to see Linkin Park in concert and all thoses stuffs weren't allowed so the people of the staff took it and gave it back at the end of the show ,but i don't know about the Zenith of Strasbourg...but i'll hide them just in case !
  17. Yeah me too i'll bring my Cell phone (Chavi and I put a looot of music on ours for the day :P) and my digital cam...i just have to hide them on my underpants cuz if the security found them they might keep them for the show T_T
  18. and this video was from the Tokio Hotel concert at the Zenith : http://hk.youtube.com/watch?v=HnKUkwCuIA0
  19. Lool don't worry ^^ me it's normal my father is from the UK so i have English blood trhough my veines and i speak really good english *proud to be British !* D-9 people ! :D
  20. G oA : where do u live in Germany ? is it far away from Strasbourg ?
  21. maybe they kept it for the European tour ! you know it's often that bands when they first start touring in America they use a sort of "random" setlist but when they come in Europe they change it a little bit with adding new songs and stuff ;)
  22. Yep ! but that'll mean also a new setlist ! :D i pray that they will play "Talk" ! :p
  23. I'll be there too !! i'll arrive at the venue around 12.30 PM ! no i have no idea who will be the opening band i just pray it's not gonna be Duffy xD but i've heard they will play a cover from Depeche mode ! D-14 !
