  1. Seriously?! Her accident was on the local news last night, but at that point they were saying everything was probably treatable.. and it didn't seem so serious since it happened on the bunny hill. But wow, I guess she really hit her head pretty hard on that fall. :(
  2. Taylor swift seems like a nice girl. Miley's young and seems to behave that way. In interviews she just seems like a typical bratty teen girl to me. =\ She's definitely going to have to face the fact that just being famous doesn't mean that everyone is going to throw themselves at her and beg to be her friend...
  3. nice! we should all group up and hassle some roadies , i mean ask politely and prove that we're all real fans from coldplaying for those front row seats. :D!
  4. judging by the seating chart the seat you have will be absolutely amazing, m81. Just as good as being row 22 on the floor id say except with a better view since youll be elevated a bit above the people infront of you. :)
  5. UGH yeah thats fucking disgusting. I hate that they try to justify it as well. I'd love artists to try to take a bit more control over ticket sales... the fanclub presales worked great back in the day. Id much rather cough up 40-50 extra dollars than 1100!!
  6. I am so pissed about this and now understand why I was getting so many errors with Ticketmaster this morning. it also explains why the really amazing tickets (front row and the like) never seem to end up in the hands of us real fans.
  7. Its an evil game for sure and I dont recommend it... it takes all the excitement out of actually getting to see Coldplay finally! I should just focus on that...not what seats I wont end up sitting in haha. Unfortunately this is a game Im addicted to. Somewhere in the back of my head I keep imaging that first row floor seats magically become available, I nab them and am able to resell my ticket to someone. >_>
  8. I dont remember GM place being so huge, but how many seats are there per row in the sections? Im seat 1, but youre 100 something? :stunned: I wish there was a more detailed seating chart so I could understand better where Im sitting.
  9. I'm playing a very evil game with myself right now... it's called "lets see if any better seats are available now even though theres no way to give up the ones I already purchased." Now youve said that 106 is near the b-stage so thats awesome and Im super excited if thats true. But now Im coming up with row 11 in 119! ACK sitting there would be amazing too!! I was also offered a bunch of pairs on the side... and theres still seats together in 103 available! Im thinking maybe I should have taken them now that Im seeing the pictures!! I was just worried that the view would be horrible and thered be no view of the screens. ack, silly me rushing to get tickets when its almost easier to wait a few hours and be able to see what people have given up after the mad rush at 10am. >_> Id better not keep playing this game though or else Im gonna end up with 5 tickets for both shows and will have to struggle to sell the ones I dont end up wanting along with the ones Im now selling for Portland...
  10. Woot!! finally ticketmaster.ca was able to process my order. I kept getting ALL sorts of weird errors for over 25 minutes. well I couldnt get decent seats seated next to eachother unless I wanted to be behind the stage... Id have been fine with that, as they were row 9 but i didnt think my bf wanted to stare at manass all night. So, Ive got what I think will be a very very decent ticket for section 106, row 6!! Cant wait!!!
  11. how the hell??? I still cant get tickets!! its not coming up with anything for me!!
  12. the hell... anyone else having trouble getting passed the stupid security codes???
  13. Im close, in Coquitlam/port coquitlam area. :) And Im also psyched about this second date!
  14. Hmmm... this test sounds like a huge pile of smelly stinky shit. Squish squish pfft. Im a uni grad (not that impressive but I dont think it puts me in the stupidest people alive category) and although I did fuck up my 2nd and 3rd years when I was feeling a bit confused about what direction I was taking in life and suffering a bit of depression, when I got my act together for my 4th year courses I got an average mark of 90% for those courses because I put in an ounce of effort and showed up to class... Im not the smartest cookie for believing that my grades didnt matter and allowing a bit of depression to affect my performance at school but I don't appreciate being ranked among the "dumbest" just because I like Coldplay. Complete bullshit.
  15. Darned ectomorphs! *jealous*:P You, Gwyn, Chris, my dad, definitely all ectomorph body types. Me Im an endomorph... larger bones slower metabolism. Mind you it doesnt mean Im fat or that I will definitely become fat, but it does mean that I have gained weight rapidly before (40 pounds up in 2 months. yes I was eating junk and not exercising much, but people with a faster metabolism would have put on maybe 10 because its not like I was eating 5k calories a day) and struggled to lose weight. Im a healthy weight now but I have to count my calories and workout everyday for the rest of my life to continue to have a healthy BMI! I shouldnt complain too much though, I find the exercise is a great stress reliever for me so Im glad to continue doing it. Gwyn has said that she has to work out 2 hours a day to look the way she does, but from looking at her frame and the way she looks when she considers herself to be 'fat' she's still a very thin girl naturally, even if she 'lets herself go' a tiny bit. :)
  16. Ive been trying to get 2 tickets next to eachother periodically throughout the day Shaftell and have had no luck with that, so really doubt there'll be any 3 seats available together today. :( Im not sure how they decide which seats to release to the public for these presale things though... maybe its sort of the nature of them that theyre more scattered about... who knows. Im sure something will be available tomorrow for you but probably not the best seats in the world... Im really not pleased with how tickets seem to be sold these days... in 2004, not that long ago, I was able to get 4 amazing seats next to each other in a presale for Bowie at GM place and the same thing for his show in Kelowna... it was a fan club presale thing, but Id pay a few extra dollars (me and my friends split the cost of 1 membership as soon as the dates were announced to have access to the presale) to have access to decent seats and actually be able to go with friends without having everyone scattered around the entire arena!! Bringing friends who dig the band youre seeing is always a bit more fun for me as you feel less self conscious about singing along and dancing like a goofball if you feel like it. but with these tickets and the ones for Portland... it just doesnt seem like ticketmaster even puts the really great seats up for sale to the general public when tickets are supposed to go on sale...
  17. Im starting to think I should have taken some seats in the 119-115 area that I passed up.. I forgot how in these arenas the floor is flat and its hard to see above people's heads at more than 10 rows back... I didnt notice any tickets come up for 103-108, I wonder if those are going to be onsale tomorrow maybe? Oh well, hoping for a 2nd Vancouver show so I can compare the two views in GM place :D
  18. Probably nothing to worry about. I always end up with odd bruises on my legs and I can never remember how I got them! I have two mystery bruises right now! Then again I am probably 200% less graceful than Gwyn as Im always walking into corners and tables :laugh3:
  19. well, if theres any interest at all Ive put the ticket on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=170311003358 really cant afford both shows and the cost of travel :(
  20. GOD DAMMIT just came up with row 26 on the floor, better than mine. Was thinking of purchasing them and giving the original to some soul here who didnt get a good seat or to a friend but wasn't quick enough.
  21. Im rotating through all of them. Radio is a password as well Ive found... radio, violet, strings, scientist all work.
  22. I had a few pages open until I got one with a floor seat... not the best floor seat but I just didnt want to be way at the back or in the bleachers because the crowd is never as fun there as on the floor I find. I like the excitement and singing and all that but everyone gets all shy in Vancouver when theyre not on the floor I find. Im sad that Im not going with anyone though... always more fun to be next to a friend. I remember a few years ago when i was buying presale tickets to prince, bowie, and other big concerts it was sooo easy to get 5th row floor seats no problem. Nowadays it seems that only ticket resellers get the good seats and not the actual fans :(
