my problem is I have no job right now... If i go it'll be a trip to put on the credit card I guess... but heres the other trouble, I just applied for a job where I would work weekends >.< If I got that job, I dont know if I would want to risk it by asking for a weekend off so soon after started the job. More than likely I wont get the job though given the current state of things though.

Yeah I was just sitting in my car, and he was all "COLDPLAY are set to play the Gorge July 11th, thats all the details we have for now but we'll be bringing you more as we get them." And i was all "WAAATT?? !! :shocked2: :D:D:D:stunned:" and did a little seated dance. Then I thought "damn the things I miss when I step away from coldplaying.com for a minute to get some groceries." haha So i was sooo surprised more US dates hadnt been officially announced yet and that there was nothing here or on the official site.

So this is the thread I shoulda posted the link in, I browsed this forum but didnt find this thread hehe :P The guy on the radio seemed pretty certain of it, and he said theyd be revealing details as they got them, so Im gonna keep listening and checking coldplay.com and finally... SQUEE :D

hehe, tickets on sale next week apparently so hopefully we get some official confirmation soon! i really hope I can con some friends into going, I dont know of any amphitheatres in B.C. so doubt Coldplay will be heading my way otherwise. :(

Quoting this again because according to 107.7 the end Seattle, Coldplay are playing at some place called the Gorge July 11!! Now I wiki'd the place..and its quite in the middle of that state... but I might see if some friends would like making a nice roadtrip out of it :D

At the Prince concerts I went to he invited loads of people up onto the stage...like at least an entire row. it was pretty insane to see that, it was just for like a song or two, everyone was dancing, and I think most everyone up there understood that they wouldnt be staying up there if they harrassed him or the band. But Im not sure Coldplay's music lends itself in the same way to audience stage invasions and booty shakin.

how about vancouver, nice and inbetween sort of... :D though i'd probably travel down to seattle as well...

Yeah, when I went to London and Poland when I was 16, I noticed that bare breasts in magazines and such were not that big a deal over there as they are in North America. I remember buying some teen magazine (English or Polish I dont remember) and when I flipped to the embarrassing questions sections there was a question like "is there something wrong with my breasts" and on that page there was also a picture of a woman checking out her boobs in the mirror with a worried look on her face. I also picked up some women's magazine that they sell over here too, and noticed that there were boobs in the European version when there'd never be boobs in the American one. We're all just a bit prudy over here I guess. :P

From what some people have said online, Tracy Anderson's gyms are pretty poorly run and mega expensive. Apparently she also owes money to former clients as well for closing one of her gyms without warning. If any of that is true then I hope Gwyn doesn't get involved in any of her business dealings...

Kind of agree with you there. Some people can hadle themselves better than others when they've had a few drinks, but I know that when my mom decides to have a few drinks and ends up drunk (not to the point of vomiting or stumbling, just enough to get obnoxious) I can't stand to be around her and start feeling very bad for anyone who had to grow up with alcoholic parents. It's like her personality gets turned up by 1000 and any resentment or anger she might have felt in the last few months comes to the surface. She also talks nonstop and finds herself to be pretty clever and insightful. Im glad she doesnt drink frequently. Myself Ive only been drunk once and didn't really like the feeling of it. Ive never drank enough to be sick but 3 drinks is enough for me to lose all balance, and I dont much like not being in control of my legs. :confused:

I thought she seemed a little ass kissy too lol. After watching that clip I decided to look up information on her DVD's anyway and found some postings by people who used to be members at one of her gyms. Apparently her business practice isn't too sound and she owes a lot of people money they paid in advance before she closed the place without notice. They had a lot of stuff to say about her character too...she brags about her celeb connections and makes up credentials according to these anonymous posters. Of course, as this is the internet and they are anonymous who knows what part of it is true, so take that with a grain of salt.

That bit about the three day juice fast is sad, doesnt seem worth it at all.she doesnt look like a linebacker in the purple dress, she looks like she's a healthy weight...so if you look like that you have nothing to worry about. The body image issues come with the business she's in and having to constantly compare herself to other actresses who are comparing themselves to others as well and all are taking things to extremes. I just would prefer she keep the comments about how apparently fat she was when she was healthier looking, and the tips on fasting and cleansing to herself so that us regular women can keep our sanity.

About the latest GOOP.... having just recently watched various New Years programs about celebrity crash diets and their quest to be size 0, I'm sort of saddened that Gwyneth would send out a newsletter advocating her fasts and cleanses. I'd like her next one to be "BE happy with yourself even if you're not size 0" not exercise tips from her trainer... I've also heard several times that there's really no science behind these "detoxes". I'm all for not eating things that are harmful for your body, but I don't think week long liquid diets are the way to go. Just eat healthy foods and everything in moderation year round. Plus she suggests these detoxes are for weight loss... Well, if you put yourself on a crash diet, you can end up losing muscle.. when you begin eating normally again, you'll put the weight back on as fat. Yo-yo dieting isn't healthy for anyone and just gives the word 'diet' a stigma. So even people who really do need to lose weight probably aren't going to benefit in the long run from going on week long cleanses/fasts combined with 2 hour Tracy Anderson workouts. There's nothing wrong with losing a bit of weight in a healthy way to achieve a healthy weight... but Gwyneth is so tiny, and 5 holiday pounds on a 5'11 frame is probably nothing. Sort of might make others feel like they have to be a comparable size. =\

I have this horrible tendency to start speaking in a manner similar to how I'm being spoken to. Like, if someone speaks to me in slightly broken English, I'll do the same. Or any little unique things about how certain people talk...I just start speaking back to them in the same way within minutes. and I'm NOT trying to mock them, it just comes out and I can't really control it. It's also not that I'm some expert with accents, I'm definitely not. So when I spent 5 hours in England a few years ago when I was waiting to catch another flight, I had to keep consciously telling myself NOT to speak with a British accent because I knew everyone would be able to tell I was North American and I'd look like a fool lol. But God it was hard not to.

Now the first time I heard it I thought Chris sounded ultra sexy. But after a few more listens I get a more..uh... 'spooky' vibe from his voice. Sorta creepy. Coupled with the lyrics I just sort of get a rapist vibe from it, lol. >.> Maybe haunting is a nicer word...I dont mind haunting songs though. but um, scary chris. I still like it though.

the style of lhuna reminds me a bit of the faultline collaberations as well, 'cept sexier. I really enjoy Lhuna, not sure why so many here hate it but I think more would like it if it was just Chris singing as with the faultline tracks. Thats just my guess though. I enjoy Coldplay producing songs in styles that don't stick to the "coldplay sound", shows that theyre not as formula as critics say they are.

TMZ are I think among the most irritating paps too. Anyone watch the show ever? They're just completely rude, annoying and cocky.

i have no idea how that manages to be legal... how can you manage to drive if camera flashes are constantly going off in your face?? paps shouldnt be able to do that, i think it puts more than just them and the celebs in danger honestly. the response they got from chris was well deserved :)

its up on itunes now here (in canada at least). The pricing is a bit odd though... 8 songs that are normally $0.99 a peice, then a bonus video that bought separately would be $2.29... yet theyre charging $13.99 to buy the album instead of the $10.21 it would cost to purchase each thing separately... The version that's VLV+Prospekt's march is up for only $12.99.
