@Aurélie: your pics are great!! So, better than mine! XD @Jen: Gary's autograph is the one under the red one! (He just writes "gary") I don't know if I'm gonna eat the sweets I got with the signed postcard; I might keep them as a souvenir :p Here's another vid I took, it's an extract of The Good Book: [ame= ] [/ame]

I like the way you defined it! ^^ Here's an extract of PMALI (acoustic), surreal moment! [ame= ] [/ame]

Yes!! They were all great, and perfect to fit with the mood of the audience last night! ;) I wanna be positive about it, and I tend to think that sooner or later, there'll be a 2nd album! (*fingers crossed*) They had so much fun with this first experience (you could see it!), they better not stop now!

rip away, my friend! ;) (sorry that the zoom kind of spoil the sound once or twice)

Tired Pony
Yeah, and I was so afraid about that! :p (one negative point though, the sound changes a little when I use the zoom. And sometimes the image gets a bit blurry, and I don't know why.. ) Now I need to figure out the best settings to take pics inside a dark venue, cause the pics aren't that good. The other vids are on their way! --- edit --- @Christina: and for the love of it, and that's why we love them! :smug:

I really hope you do too! Thanks, Jen! It was beyond anything we could have imagined! Hope we'll have some news about a dvd, or at least some official videos on the website soon! By the way, I love the pic you posted on the SP thread: beautiful shot That was a perfect banter to begin a perfect show ;) (I began to film the banters, but I should have focused on filming the songs, I could only get three from beginning to end, then I had to just film some extract cause I was running out of memory.. :/) and seeing this again: [ame= ] [/ame] makes me want to say a big thank you to Mr Buck for wanting to play the song acoustically!

Back from London, not sure if all this really happened! :smug: Indeed we were! But that was totally worth it! It was all pretty intense, but in such a perfect way that sleep depravation is only a small price to pay :p Thanks Christina, the quality is great! The new song were really good, so much "punchier" than the album in general, it kind of completes it! And it was precisely what was needed to literally make us stand and, as Gary said it, to "shake [our] asses"! :D And I was the other one who kept going from the small shelter on the right* to the entrance, trying to avoid the rain and cold (in vain)! (*there was a door through which I heard Gary's voice twice.. true story ^^) Actually when you took this pic : Aurélie and I were on the right corner, behind the man with the glasses. I find it difficult to make a proper review, cause I'm still overwhelmed by the emotions of last night. But that was really a fantastic show, and I feel very lucky to have been in the audience! I was also in row E, center stage, between Gary and Peter Buck (closer to G), but my pics aren't that great. I have a few good vids though, must take the time to upload them. All the musicians on stage were incredible. The band kept smiling throughout the gig, we could see they were having a wonderful time, just enjoying playing together and sharing their music. This is exactly how I see it, especially with the acoustic version of Point Me At Lost Islands! It's one of my favourite moment of the show, that was absolutely surreal and magical! I was happily surprised to see Lisa Hannigan, and I loved her duet with Gary on Get On The Road, which is my favourite song! (at least in my top 3). It actually brought tears to my eyes, they were both radiant! I'm sure I'll never experience something like that again, and I do hope that TP won't stop here and will continue to amaze us! ^^

Don't worry kimgan, someone from the SP board emailed the HMV Forum and the pit will still be seated (people who were supposed to be in the pit for the 2nd show will be "relocated" in the upper stalls (balcony) ;) Time to leave for London! See you everyone! ^^

Finally got my copy in hand!! ^^ Can't stop listening to it since Monday, it's like I'm re-discovering each song every time! I couldn't make a proper review of it, I might not be objective.. let's just say that this album is a real diamond! Both lyrics and music are breathtaking! The guys (especially Gary for the lyrics) have outdone themselves, a big thank you to them! I can't believe this is tomorrow, I'm getting more and more excited! Of course, I'm taking my camera with me, so I hope that we'll be able to take pics and videos (don't know if the venue is against that or not..) but I guess it'll be ok!
