Revolutionary Road (DiCaprio, Winslet)
Unfortunately, no. He's been nominated three times though - for What's Eating Gilbert Grape, The Aviator, and Blood Diamond. Maybe this will be his year with two strong projects.

Revolutionary Road (DiCaprio, Winslet)
He always chooses the best, most interesting projects. You never see him in cheesy action movies or dull romantic comedies.

The FUNNIEST Show on Television
Entourage is the funniest, in my opinion, but I've enjoyed what I've seen of "Philadelphia" a great deal. I want to buy it on DVD eventually.

Revolutionary Road (DiCaprio, Winslet)
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiwehAM_mig]YouTube - Revolutionary Road Trailer (HQ)[/ame] I'm so excited for this movie! Leonardo DiCaprio is my favorite actor (can't wait to see Body of Lies this Friday) and Kate Winslet is extremely talented as well. Plus, the director (Sam Mendes, American Beauty, Road to Perdition) is top-notch and it's based on a brilliant novel. I don't understand how this COULDN'T be a masterpiece. Anyone else interested?

Poor, poor Famous Old Painters & The Dubliners
Perhaps "The Dubliners" will get the "Moses" treatment and show up on a live album next year. :)

Prospekt's March Contains Eight New Songs? (message from Prospekt)
I'm a bit confused (and I apologize if this has been covered before) - Chris, in the letter posted on Coldplay's site, says fans will be able to download the EP, order it on the internet, or buy a special edition of Viva la Vida... with the EP included. Will the EP not be sold in stores as a standalone release? Strange.

Prospekt's March Contains Eight New Songs? (message from Prospekt)
I'm so excited for this. :) I have a feeling it will go down as a truly brilliant EP, similar to Radiohead's Airbag/How Am I Driving? (companion EP to OK Computer).

Coldplay and your family!
My mom loves Coldplay. :D And I converted my best friend into a Coldplay/Radiohead fanatic. He used to just listen to mainstream country and Christian pop.

Hello from Maryland, USA
I love O.A.R. The best band to come from Maryland (certainly better than Good Charlotte and All Time Low).

Hello from Maryland, USA
My name's David. Coldplay (obviously) and Radiohead are my favorite bands. I'm an avid novel reader, music listener, and film watcher. lol Oh, and I'm 18 years old and attending college right now (majoring in journalism). Anywho, I've long read this site and these forums and gotten lots of great information from them. So I finally decided to jump in myself. I also post on At Ease (Radiohead forum). So... that's it. lol Nice to meet you all.

"What If" mastering error/studio noise?
Thanks. :D But, ugh, I hope it's not just my CD. I don't know why this pops out at me the way it does. I'm not a FLAC/$10,000 headphones type of person usually. lol

String Quartet Performs Coldplay's Viva la Vida
WOW, those sound wonderful. This type of project can be frightening (it could've been a cheap, poorly produced cash-in), but it seems they've put a lot of heart into it. "Strawberry Swing" and especially "Cemeteries of London" sound GORGEOUS. This is a must-buy. It would be wonderful if these could be used in a film. I imagine this version of "Cemeteries of London" playing over epic, sweeping shots of the countryside in a Pride & Prejudice/Becoming Jane-type film.

"What If" mastering error/studio noise?
[DISCLAIMER: I know how OCD this is, but I've wondered since X&Y came out. lol] At 1:09 in "What If" (during "...could put right what I..."), there's this... noise (left channel, headphones) during the "right." I can't explain it, but it's very noticeable (at least to me). I wonder, is it a mastering error or noise from the studio?
