Coldplay's lovely roadies!! & other assorted people
Absolutely, it is :) And even if I kind of contradict myself ;) , let's face it: Playing a huge stadium for loads of people (and not only 'die hard fans') you as a band have to put on a show. People just expect something spectacular, special & outrageous. Otherwise they could sit at home and listen to the CD. :laugh3:

Coldplay's lovely roadies!! & other assorted people
+1 I really loved the show etc. But I would also be happy if the next show/gigs will be more 'stripped down' and less prerecorded stuff aso. I would even go that far to say, that the bell wasn't really necessary aso. As long as the audience gets their sing-a-long, everything is okay. And I actually think, that the sing-a-long was intense at some locations and that made the song even more special :) Edit: This shouldn't come across as complaining. I just think that many fans would have been totally happy to get a show without all the sound-/visual effects and just the band doing what they do best: playing fantastic music :)

Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
Ahhh .... don't fret :D Just remember what Miller said in the blog about songs ... Sometimes 'proper' songs will be neglected over new ideas aso., so plans do change within very short time. Even if they SAY there are no plans (YET?!?), that could be all different tomorrow ... :) What about if they decide to make stuff downloadable for free again?! Just a thought and even possible ... Anyway, I'm with Anna, I would sooo love to relive all of it again :)

June 21, 2010 - submitted by Isabel, Portugal Q. What about love? Will Alexandre be my soulmate? The Oracle replies: This was your third question sent on the same day asking me about your house as well as Vitor and Alexandre. It sounds like you're confused about the two men with a flurry of burning questions I don't think it's me you need but perhaps a magic 8 ball to predict your outcome.

Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
June 21, 2010 - submitted by Robert, Venezuela Q. Dear Oracle, It seems that Matt McGinn is around the same age as the band members of Coldplay. Are Matt and Coldplay good friends or just work associates? Greetings from Venezuela The Oracle replies: He's actually quite a bit older than the band (sorry Matt but you are!) but all their close work associates (backline crew, studio staff, PAs, management etc.) are also counted as close friends. The whole team get on brilliantly and especially on tour it's like an extended family.

FINISHED! SOUTH AFRICA 2010 WORLD CUP!!
Though being german I was on the Socceroos side and supported them. Sure it was nice when my team scored the goals and I cheered as well, but I just felt so very sorry for the Socceroos. The referee's decision to pull a red card was so not justified and there were several times when he refereed in Germany's favour.

Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
June 7, 2010 - submitted by Diamond, United States of America Q. Hello Oracle, I wanted to know if Guy had a Twitter, there is a guy on there with an account named GuyBerryman39. Is it Guy or is he a poser? The Oracle replies: Don't bother with anyone claiming to be ANY of the guys on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace (apart from official band pages) etc. as every one is an imposter and not a member of Coldplay. Honestly ... I wonder how many times a question like this was asked and answered ...

Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
June 7, 2010 - submitted by Karl, United Kingdom Q. Hi - I was searching online for Coldplay and came across a link to a Coldplay.com "IN MY PLACE members area" at "coldplay.com/html/members.shtml" - I entered my email address before I realised that this might not be legitimate. It didn't do anything apart from open up a window for 'tidalflow.co.uk' that seemed not to have much in it. Is this old content or is it someone doing something nefarious, but using or spoofing Coldplay's domain name? In the meantime I'll do a thorough virus check on my machine! Thanks. The Oracle replies: Don't worry Karl nothing bad will happen. That page is now defunct but was part of a very old official website incarnation many years ago.
