I love Rammstein. Pretty much every song, apart from Nebel and En Leid. Stein Um Stein is amazing, each record is good though... cannot wait for new material!

Well Crying Lightning is the standout, but I'd say Pretty Visitors is solid and the same with Fire and The Thud, My Propeller is good too.

oh no, i agree with you on that the music was simple, that's what made it so great it showed that such simple things can take over the world, and they did in such a short time. and yes, there are bands much musically better, and I agree that Sigur Ros is UNDERRATED. yeah they get fan attention and all that, but i don't think they have gotten what they deserve.

I agree with The Killers and Animal Collective, however, Interpol is a Joy Division incarnation and the arctic monkeys are raw, but not necessarily the best, but with Sigur Ros, i really really have to disagree with you there. They really bring so much uniqueness to alternative music and is so peaceful. I think their music is wonderful and i don't think they are overrated. They get acclaim from fans and music followers but they aren't given as much attention Fall Out Boy gets for example, now that's an overrated band!

Feist is good, and so is Emily they each bring a different dynamic to each of their own performances. I would choose them both, not either or! :smug:

how can half of you say Radiohead is overrated? each one of their records have brought different aspects of music and have influence many bands. When you look at bands that are overrated you have to think about what they do outside of the music and their live shows. Most bands don't have the ability to bring out a good live show, mainly new bands out there. However most of these bands you all deem overrated have given so much influence to probably most of the filth you listen to now. Coldplay, Radiohead, U2, and many others have the ability to play an amazing live show and each of their albums are experimented with their music style and change music . That's my oppinion. There is no sense in arguing what everyone else believes because everyone's style and interest is different.

the style that Metric plays compared to BSS is far different. There really is no comparison. BSS is very ambient and random at times, very alternative almost shoe-gazing music, however Metric is the best pop-rock or indie-pop band in Canada. Feist there is a little more comparison however her music is a little more folk compared to Metric

14 tracks were recorded, but i guess only 10 hopefully they will come out as some b-sides or something

The digital booklet is wonderful, the artwork is great! the extra songs are great too! this album really does look promising! I am still awaiting my physical copy. Canada unfortunately doesn't have a release date yet! I've downloaded the one off a torrent, but no doubt I will buy it I only buy the music from artists i really love!

but don't you just wish that it would happen? these guys are so unappreciated other than in Australia! I just wish they were placed onto the world's stage.

I discovered Kent about a month ago. I'm glad I did. I haven't listened to much, but I really enjoy discovering artists and bands I've never heard before and being opened to a whole new style, such as Kent.
