People often don't expect it to turn out badly (or are you referring to after it gets bad? I might have misunderstood). If it starts to get bad, I guess people keep hoping that things will work out in the end (when they really won't), so they keep holding on to it. Breakups are depressing (though I guess one needs to take chances sometimes). Also, I might as well mention that I agree that I would indeed deserve to die if I thought being a promiscuous whore was a perk to being single.

Loneliness is actually not my reasoning. It's just that a lot of the time relationships don't work out very well and end up being overly dramatic and depressing. One doesn't have that to worry about this when they're single. I didn't mean that being single was better than being in a relationship. Relationships can turn out well too, definitely. I just don't think people need to feel bad because they're single on Valentine's Day. I didn't mean to sound offensive. And no, I was not referring to being a whore at all.

I probably won't be doing anything out of the ordinary. Nobody should feel bad if they don't have someone to celebrate Valentine's Day with (though hating on the holiday is not necessary). There are many nice things about being single. :P

Actually, there are a lot of U2 fans here. Visit the U2 thread and see for yourself. Not everyone here prefers Coldplay to U2. Please don't come here just to start pointless arguing. Everyone has their own opinion. It's a waste of time to try to change that. If you think U2 is a billion times better than Coldplay and that Coldplay sucks, fine, you are entitled to your preference. We are entitled to ours as well. So please, if all you want to do is fight, leave.
