Maybe. But if there are doing this, then they have gone from one extreme to another. A preview at this stage I think is ideal. Or perhaps a video snippet had they shot a video for it which I think is highly unlikely.

My point exactly. Let's admit it. The way Coldplay went about promoting Mylo Xyloto (playing songs before hand in festivals and the fans knowing songs from half the album before it even came out) wasn't exactly exciting. And now with 4 days to go for the release, they should make it a point at least to get people excited about it.

If the delay in the release was because of lack of promotion, I don't see them promoting a lot anyways. No previews. No trailer previews. No promo video. Get the preview out already, "I'm about to explode".
