LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Thanks for those nice words. I have been really caught up with work to post anything (or write music blogs) but I do follow the forum once in a while, especially nearing album release. I wish I could have been more involved here. As for everyone else, I'm really sorry but I can't give out any details on a forum. Did I like it? Yes. Did I love it? May be. Should we be excited? Yes!

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
This is what happened in Mumbai with me (I had posted pictures earlier). One of my friend was like "Leave everything and come to this place if you want to see Coldplay" and of course, I did. I saw the entire band, met them and talked to them. They are really amazing, down to earth and sweet people. Will and I talked for a while about Cricket/Ashes and I was like "I like your previous work a lot" and he was like "me too!" and then I was like "Tell Chris to play more piano!" and we laughed. Jonny was very humble and smiled at everything, we talked briefly and he kept saying "Thank You". I didn't get to talk to Guy a lot - he was very introverted and spoke very little, in general (focused on his camera). Finally, I got to take a picture with Chris and whilst I was doing it I didn't know how to turn the front facing camera on and he was like "Wait, let me do that for you" and took that picture for me. All of them were having a lot of fun but Will was my favorite cos he was talking to me as if I was his friend or something and that made my day.* Everything looks very upbeat but I can't give out details about what was happening there right now because I was taken there with the condition that I would keep shut later. All I can say is that the experience was surreal and to experience that for so long and witness what I did - I was very fortunate!

Critic ratings.
According to most critics (average of sorts, if you will) , this is the worst Coldplay album, ever.
-
Lowest rated Coldplay album on Metacritic
Right now the score is 63, that's the lowest rating ever for an album for Coldplay. http://www.metacritic.com/music/ghost-stories/coldplay (Didn't see this coming)

Criticisms with the album?
Too few Wills (with his electronic drums wherever he is) Too many Martins (with his not too great songwriting wherever he is)* *except "O", that song is perfect

Critic ratings.
I had a feeling that critics will have a bit of polarizing view, especially who are not a fan of Coldplay in general New Review: http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/music/2014/05/13/coldplay-album-review/9012963/

Did anyone rip off the video for "True Love" from YouTube before it was taken off? If yes, can she/he PM the file? Thanks in advance.

Ghost Stories, release date: 19 May 2014
Heard "Always in My Head" and "Another's Arm" at iTunes Festival today along with the live performance of "Midnight". Almost reminded me of the time when I first heard Coldplay (in terms of being awestruck in amazement) They are back to being simple, subtle, beautiful and the same time innovative, fresh and new. It's intimate, the lyrics are personal (sometimes too simple for my taste) and Guy is using a freaking Laser Harp during "Midnight" (he is producing it!). Even though I am truly against playing new songs at the festivals, Coldplay might just have a brilliant, exciting and a gem with "Ghost Stories" on it's way.
