I went to Community College for 3 years and it cost me about $600 a year. I was then accepted into UCLA, UCSB, UCSD, Cal State Long Beach, and Cal State Chico. I chose UCLA and just graduated in June 2008. UCLA was $25,000 a year..so yeah I saved money. I had a 3.7 GPA in high school, but never would have been accepted to UCLA right out of high school. I wasn't ready to leave home either, so thats why CC was a good fit for me.
