It's hard in this economy to do what you want, especially when you feel the need to support your family. I would think your parents would want you to do what makes you happy. If you didn't have any financial problems, would you go to med school? I'm sure you're more than capable of going to medical school, but if you find yourself questioning it, then your heart probably isn't in it. I'm sorry, I know this is complicated. There's no easy answer. Everyone can sit and tell you all day long their opinion, but at the end of the day it's your life and you have to live with the decision. I'm sure you'll be successful in whatever path you choose.
