I'm thankful for being aware. I'm not living with blinders on, like some people I know. I've seen different cultures, countries, people, and I'm open to new ideas and ways of life. I'm also grateful for my health, soft peppermints (SO DELICIOUS), my cats, hot guys, music, my education, etc.

I actually don't know anyone who goes out on Black Friday. :blank: I don't because I don't want to die young.

Harry Potter 7 Um...9/10. I just really loved it! :D The acting and cinematography was really good, and it stayed honest to the book.

I think some people are reading this question the wrong way. 17 year old people can definitely love. Definitely. You have the ability to love another person with all your heart, and no one can argue that. It would be ridiculous to say a teen can't love someone or be "in love". I think the question here should be: are you mature enough at 17 to recognize true love and foster it? Because some might mistake "romance" for true love, and that's not right. Then it depends on the 17 year old to be mature. Because I know some teens who are way more mature than adults twice their age.

Flying. Just thinking about having to go on a flight makes my chest feel tight. Think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts...:uhoh2:

I'm no expert here, but isn't marijuana still pretty dangerous? I don't think legalizing it will help anyone, to be honest. If it's for a "medical problem", who cares, but for everyday use? :shrug: What about the impressionable children? Anywho, I don't think I'll ever try any drug, because I took an AP biology class and saw exactly what different substances do and why they're dangerous. Seriously. I don't need to see any more. I decided right then and there I wouldn't do it. It's really, really stupid. Like really really. Some people are truly disgusting...they'll do anything for pleasure. No self control.

I think most educated Christians know not to take the Bible literally. It's not supposed to be taken literally. I only know one Christian who actually believes that the devil made Eve eat the forbidden fruit etc. I went to a Catholic elementary school and a Catholic high school, because I really liked the atmosphere, even though I'm not religious at all. Go figure. But something that I've noticed from going is that many people on the outside seriously have no idea what Catholicism is really about or what true Catholics really believe. I can't speak for other Christians, however...

My brother is 9--he just had it done (I think) because it was bothering him...like some medical reason. But I think it's mainly done now for social reasons, and I also think that it runs in families. Like if the father is circumcised, the son will most likely be as well. But I felt really bad for my brother; he was totally freaking out about it and it caused him a lot of pain. It's probably not nearly as bad for babies, though. What the hell do I know, I'm a girl. :blank:
