I personally hate NYC, but that's probably because I live close to it so there's nothing special about it. I mean, I love the attractions there (museums, Broadway, etc.) but I do not enjoy simply walking around the city. Then again, if you've never been there, it's definitely a different experience. That "Jersey" accent is a myth. We're quite accent-neutral. Brooklyn accents, on the other hand...
