It's the same in every forum tbf, in the Radiohead forum there are many who don't like them anymore and pick on some members, and I bet it's the same in every single forum you mention, even in non-related music forums.

I liked GUTG a lot, but for some reason it just started being so annoying to my ears :/ I don't even know how to explain it.

Not arguing that, I just don't feel excited about listening to Separator and Give Up The Ghost.

Well I have to admit it's growing a lot on me, but basically those are the two songs I'm more interested to listen to live.

^LOL. Actually one of the reasons I can't stand Coldplay anymore is Chris Martin's voice. I'd rather listen to a new U2 album, I dig Bono's voice.

At least you admit it. Overrated? I think their most overrated work has been OKC, and as much as I like it I never quite found it to be as good as people put it. About Elbow, I wouldn't know, I'm not a fan of theirs but it's all a matter of taste. As much as you like the most popular bands in the forum (AF, Elbow, CP, Oasis, U2) it's fairly subjective and a bit biased to say they're the best in the world. I can't quite even name a best band in the world, cos that's pretty full of bullshit if you ask me, favourite band? SURE MATE, I have many, but I can't just go around the the forum or the world claiming that my favorite bands are the best. Yeah, Coldplay is popular, I get it, they make catchy tunes, and have a good stage vibe + a good show to offer, and putting aside my feelings towards Chris Martin, I think they've deviated their sound so much, the change from X&Y to Viva was a bit drastic in my opinion and that's why I felt alienated in the first place, no more acoustic-ish great tunes, Jonny wasn't shining and I had doubts about Guy being in the songs at all. With these few songs I feel sure enough to say that they just don't fit in my taste anymore, it's too U2ish for me, and I feel like they're trying to mimic them to some extent, which I find pretty sad. Maybe, one day, they'll make some music that will make me feel love again, like Politik, but until that day, I'll stick to listening to the hideous TKOL and the rat **** that Thom Yorke is :nice: they haven't disappointed me.
