BSSM is not my favorite album, but it represents a turning point where I first started listening to them (Rick Rubin on the scene). I love "Californication" and "By The Way". And I like Stadium Arcadium as well. Pretty damn good for a double disc.

I liked Coldplagiarism. I thought he was arrogant and rude, but he made some really good points.

It's a simple cost-benefit analysis - not rocket science. I am simply pointing out that the costs are high for Satriani, too!

I am not a Satriani fan. I have never even heard one of his songs (besides the obvious one in question).

I am going to post this everytime I hear it is about money until I get a satisfactory explanation: For Satriani, if: costs>benefits ------> you don't file the lawsuit costs<benefits ------> you file the lawsuit where, costs are fixed: public scrutiny, family drug through the mud, hatred directed at him, time invested. benefits are not fixed 1. money (of which 1/3 will go to legal fees and 1/2 to taxes): this for a man who is already wealthy. 2. protecting artistic integrity. If you plug the benefits of #1 into the CBA equation, to me it does not make sense to file. If you plug #2 in, I understand.

Look, I am not a Bush supporter, but I don't want shoes thrown at the man. I think he has made some poor choices, but he will be gone in a month. Plus, if Bush goes down, we get Dick Cheney. I don't think even the most anit-Bush individuals want that ;)
