I've been sort of audio interview obsessed lately and really wish there weren't so many interviews lost in time from the early years, but I am extremely thankful for that list which saved me eons of frustration and hair pulling searching through threads.

The multimedia section is a wonderful place.

Speed of Sound for me. Its funny cause now thats probably one of my least favorite songs by them. It was on literally every time I went into a car a few years ago and once I found out who it was I made my brother download everything else ever released by Coldplay. :nice: So many of the songs I new already and loved hearing on the radio, I really don't know what took me so long to look them up.

Politik I absolutely would not listen to at all for a year after I had AROBTTH on my ipod, now i cant figure out why i hated it so much since its freaking awesome! Other than that, Yes was the one song on VLV that I would skip every time I listened and then I realized I love Chris' lower register.

Agreed. You've both basically summed up my feelings on the matter. Used to be incredibly obsessed and in love with the books, thought that would translate to the movie, and then laughed myself silly watching it in the theater. Ruined everything concerning Twilight for me, well that and the fact that Breaking Dawn had a ridiculous amount of suckage. Concerning the music, you ask me last summer and I would have said nothing would be better than having Radiohead or Kings of Leon or Coldplay on the soundtrack. Now? They better stay the hell away from associating themselves with that crap. I feel horrible enough with Muse having gone on the last one. *shudders*

And another one bites the dust... Did you here about Wright's rolled ankle? If you didn't watch yesterdays game, he rolled it when, I think it was Matt Diaz, slid into third. Of course he kept playing and ended up stealing a base the next inning but that was a close one. I'd like to call now that Wright will be the last man standing of the original line up at the end of the season even if he has two broken legs and two broken arms if only because he'll refuse to believe that he's actually hurt and keep playing.

Thank You! I've been sitting here shaking my head at some of these posts about the immorality of robmatt wanting to sell the demos when no one is saying that leaking these demos in the first place is immoral! Chris and the rest of the band obviously never meant for these songs to reach the public and they were scrapped early on or worked on and perfected as with LiJ. Now don't get me wrong, I want these songs just as much as the next guy, but don't pretend as if this is something the band would want to happen.

So many great Coldplay experiences! Now who to vote for... :thinking:

Why does everyone keep saying they "can't wait for more?" Im pretty sure both this robmatt guy (whom I now love) and coldplaykb have both said he wasn't going to be releasing anymore... Or am I reading this wrong?

^^setlist seems to be the same, right now there is a flood of "OMG cell phone waaaaave" and "BILLIE JEAN!!1!" coming in.

THIS People are always making fun of it because of its subject matter, but I think the guitar is awesome, the tone of Chris' voice is awesome and the little intro is awesome! Wish Jonny would do that type of guitar playing today...*sigh*

Didn't Chris say something about a "little" album in a recent interview? One that wouldnt be surrounded by all the hoopla like viva was? An album like that they would be able to get out by the end of next year...but then again this is Chris saying that so that "little" album probably isn't even in the cards.

The Uncommon Reader was a book Will recommended, but Chris had read the rest. It was in the Steve Lamacq interview last August 30th.
