  1. ^There is a thread here with names and pictures of the roadies :D
  2. ^I will try to, Í need to buy the Tampa tix first (a good, costly one). Lawn tix for both NC concerts.
  3. This thread has grown since I created it. Good discussion going on. Sorry :P I should add him to the list in the first page. 28 as the peak age? Interesting. Oh, a stunner! I read "stonner" at first :laugh3: Need to check my eyesight  You should come up with an excuse to take a picture of him :wink3:
  4. Welcome To the forum, Josh!
  5. :laugh3: Colbert was just joking. It must be that the writers who write the jokes don't like Coldplay much.
  6. Don't worry, it's fine. About the separate seats, I'm gonna have to do that to get my sister and me good seats. I'll tell her about it this before Friday, I also need to know if she wants a $130 ticket (she might not)
  7. ^Go directly to the Live Nation page for "Buy tickets" for the concert (be here before 10am and refresh close or at 10am) It'll say "Live Nation presale", and next to it, a box where you'll write the Ticket Rush code. Then proceed as usual (type of tix, best available, blah, security code...) Presale is on Friday @ 10 am FYI... Searching for a single ticket will show you better seats than searching for 2 or 3 or more. For 2 or 3 seats together, best offer will be first rows of the sections right after the closest ones (for instance, Row D of Section 201) Most of the orchestra sections (the closest ones) won't be available. They'll go to auctions or special VIP packages)
  8. ^Those tabloids exaggerating everything :dozey:
  9. when you already have an old-army purple jacket you got years ago and did not wear it much until "Viva La Vida" came out and now you love to wear. I wonder who is that crazy girl? Same here! My presale is on Friday. I'll be setting up three computers to buy tickets. Oh, and I'll buy two tickets separately. The anxiety is killing me :bomb: Woot! Great siggy pics!
  10. Oh, that's another issue. Guess I'll pack water bottles, power bars, apples and bananas  I'll be wearing my dark purple militia-style jacket. Maybe I should buy a white T and paint a 42 on it :P
  11. Well, it seems to me that presale people did relatively better. Those who tried both the presale and the general sale have said that they are now glad they bought on the presale (if they did). About upgrades, some fans get lucky, and it usually helps to be early at the venue. I'm so stoked about Coldplay coming to Tampa, I am totally at the Ford Amphitheater at 10am-ish sharp! I would love to meet with other Coldplayers there early in the day. Someone also suggested meeting at the Hard Rock Hotel. Hopefully, we can hang out at the hotel (even if the band is staying there. Geez, it's not like we're crazy stalkers :dozey:)
  12. I guess...the area at the venue where the tour buses and trucks enter? I have read on other concert threads that they get there around noon and 1pm. Did you see them in Atlanta when they were entering? You were all alone waiting!? must have been the time you were there, or just being the hard-core fan that tries to catch a glimpse of the band before the concert
  13. Go to http://www.ticketrush.com The password you'll use right on Live Nation, no need to go to TicketRush the day of the presale.
  14. ^who will be offereing those premium packages? Live Nation? or the scalper sites? Just wondering.... EDIT: not that I'll be buying. I'm getting whatever seats I get, and stick with them.
  15. Don't worry! Soon a thread for pre-concert to-do's will be created. I was telling this other guy about creating it, so that people can share tips and stuff to do such as getting early to the venue, posters, clothing, stalking (eeerrr...attempting to meet the band ) You're welcome! Yeah, that was the best thing to do, get those slightly worse, but slightly cheaper seats.
  16. ^^ It's Phil's fault for being so boilin' HAWT!
  17. Will Champion ---> most badass name EVER!
  18. Whoa! She even met PHIL! :shocked2: She's is SO lucky! :D [did she take any pics of Phil? :wink3: ok, this question goes on the Philly thread, but I cannot help myself :P] Ha, I already noticed she posted on this page. Denise = Iriden Oh, I have seen her posts before, I just didn't make the connection :dozey:
  19. ^Legend has it your chances for upgrade increase if you are there early. But you gotta work hard. I mean, have your posters, waiting outside for hours (mostly around noon), maybe your Viva la Vida outfit
  20. ^Yeah, in a heartbeat! Even for the SuperBowl, the NFL and the promoters had to lower the price of the cheapest ticket from $800 to $500. AND they themselves said it was because of ticket sales being lower than expected, which we know is due to the economic situation. Guess what? My brother got in because he worker as a security/guest services staff. So he got to see most of the game for free! Well, he was sore the next day from his 16-hour long shift, yet he didn't shell out $$$$ to be there  I am really hoping OXFAM asks for volunteers again at the Coldplay concerts
