Moving To Mars: LISTENING PARTY! Countdown to Friday 24th June, 11.45am (BST)
Me! I quite like ETIAW for what it is. It's a great summer song as other people have already mentioned, and it makes me happy, so whatever. I don't hate everything that happens to be somewhat radio-friendly. That being said, I do think Moving To Mars is in an entirely different league. SO amazing. And does anyone else think this song sounds like Parachutes and AROBTTH had a baby? But I also hear some X&Y in there too. And honestly, VLV as well. It's like all of those sounds were mixed together to form one beautiful, otherworldly song.

I'm missing it too because I have to get my wisdom teeth out tomorrow and I need to get some sleep! We also have the same name. ...are you me? Haha.

Grammy Nominations! (awards ceremony 31st January 2010 - Coldplay up for LiTii twice!)
Yeah, I totally agree, I think Strawberry Swing is definitely much better. But I'm happy they're nominated either way, so this is pretty cool!

Me too! I'm going to two other concerts this summer but I know that nothing will compare, haha. It was amazing. Yeah, the rain stopped after awhile but then started back again. :\ Aw, sorry about your camera.

OMG soooo good. I'm like freaking out because I've never seen them before. We were SO close to being under the roof but not quite, haha. Georgia's weather sucks... my shoes were soaked and my hair is also a mess but I really don't care. It was so worth it. I also got 11 of those paper butterflies. Chris sang Georgia On My Mind which was incredible, and then it went into Viva la Vida. Amazing night.

My dad is getting 206, but what is with all the extra charges and stuff? Do they always do that? Apparently it's showing up as like over $100 per ticket, and I didn't think tickets in that section would be so expensive. I guess I'm just looking for some input... is this worth it? I really don't want lawn seats, but my dad doesn't really want to pay a lot. Then again, I'm paying for my ticket and I don't really care how much it is, haha. But I am asking my friend to go, and I don't know how much she's willing to pay.

Okay I have never seen Coldplay live, and I'm thinking I might actually get to this time. My last final is May 8th, so I'll be done with school! *crosses fingers*

American Idol Contestant performs 'Viva La Vida'
I hate that he didn't really pull it off, cause Matt is my favorite. I think he's amazing... just an off night. And obviously he was pretty nervous. But WTF was that arrangement? Oh and apparently he plays this several times a week (he's a dueling piano player), and really switches it up a lot. But since he couldn't play piano, that probably threw him off.

Coldplay @ GRAMMY Awards 2009 | Performed Lost & Viva La Vida | WON 3 AWARDS! [PICTURES/VIDEOS IN FI
That's totally my dream, like ever since the song came out. No lie, haha. Maybe I'm one of the few that does want to see VLV, but I really think if it was accompanied with an orchestra, it would be epic.

No it's all good. Good idea. :D

LMAO.

Guitarist Joe Satriani sues Coldplay for plagiarism
Satriani is the one that looked childish. A "dagger" in his heart? He was "hurt"? Him saying that it took him over a decade to write the song for his wife? And saying that when he heard Viva la Vida, he knew it was "the exact same song" as his own. He came off as very... whiny.

Yeah, "a dagger" in his heart. He's full of it. The name of this thread is deceiving. :P But I love the video! :D
