  1. I haven't read the rest of the thread - but when/what show was this recorded from? Series of gigs?
  2. Only 2 songs I missed on camera when I saw them - Joy! :D
  3. Unfortunately thats all I got - just as well too because anymore and my camera would've died right before I met Chris :laugh3: I didn't get all the really good stuff like Life in Technicolour II & the piano solo version of The Hardest Part - was too busy soaking it all up :)
  4. I finally got my video uploaded Not DVD quality or anything - but I love that I at least have a memento I can watch at any time & relive it all. That + my photo with Chris :laugh3:
  5. They left the Brisbane show 1.5hrs after the actual concert finished - I would've spent that long waiting in the car to get out of the carpark so in some cases you might as well just wait :laugh3:
  6. Mercury Rev...... Some of their songs featured immense minute-long instrumental/orchestral/symphonic rock pieces - which I quite enjoyed. The other 95% of the time, + the vocals & stage behaviour were just plain off-putting & weird. Holding his cupped hands up to the roof of the entertainment centre as if he was holding something, for about a minute - I mean WTF was that. We were mimicking the move after the show - and we had a total stranger ask us to hold our pose while he took a photo :laugh3:
  7. Amazing experience - it was just as well there were other people around because after I'd had my photo taken I was a bit lost to be honest :laugh3: As I stepped away after having my photo taken: Chris: Hey mate I've got a question to ask you....*Has photo with someone else*....how old are you mate? Me: *Realizing Chris Martin was talking to me* 17yrs old Chris: 17?.... *takes photo with another person*.....how are most people your age getting their music these days? I don't even remember if I said anything when he asked me that - a few people chimed in & stopped any possibility of an awkward silence :laugh3:
  8. The slow-piano solo version of The Hardest part was amazing IMO.....
  9. Argh - I have a 28minute highlights video, but youtube only allows for 10minute videos :( EDIT: wrong thread, but oh well.....
  10. I got a photo with Chris if that counts :laugh3:
  11. Pretty much identical timetable/scheduling - just for reference sake, it was shortly after 12:30am when Chris'/Band Members vans left the complex in Brisbane the other night.
  12. About 30mins after the show finished & everyone had moved outside, I walked back to see, but the glass doors were closed and the staff in white shirts were standing in front of them. I didn't go up to them, but I assumed they'd been closed. I should've bought something before the show
  13. Brisbane Gig last night. Hung around for an hour and a half after the gig (traffic wasnt moving anyway). Found the driveway entrance to the back of the Entertainment Centre - 30mins later a black van is on its way out, stops in front of us - and out steps Chris! The other guys had already left - but I was stoked nonetheless! There were only like 8-10 people waiting as well - everyone else just left.....
  14. What happened to Speed of Sound?! They played Green Eyes instead which was awesome though......
  15. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_46cJhM3Fk&fmt=18]YouTube - Glass of Water - Coldplay Brisbane Entertainment Centre 08/03/2009[/ame]
  16. I have about 1min 40s of Glass of Water on video - suppose its better than nothing. Uploading now....
  17. My camera battery actually died after my photo, so that + the fact I actually have any photo at all is a massive relief - we actually started walking away after the van drove off, heard the doors, and bolted back :laugh3: Was my first gig ever, so a phenomenal show + meeting Chris means the bar has been set high for all future concerts :laugh3:
  18. :laugh3: That's my mates shirt on the left behind you. Chris was fantastic..... Unfortunately, the flash was disabled on my camera, so the only photo I got was a pretty poorly lit, blurred one - but a photo/memento none the less!
  19. After I had my photo taken he asked me how old I was (17yrs) and then asked how most people my age got their music these days. Discussion with the other ~8 people followed. He hung around for 10-15mins just chatting with us :) Called Johnny a c*nt a few times after he left in the first car & didn't come back :laugh3:
  20. Met Chris after the gig! :o He left, realized there were people waiting to see him - then drove back to meet us :)
  21. Woot! Muse :D Starlight & Supermassive Black Hole are the most 'radio friendly' commercial tracks, and to be honest Starlight is the song that got me listening to Muse in the first place. Knights of Cydonia is epic, but I also love Take A Bow. Not to mention all the tracks in-between :laugh3:
  22. Tickets for my first Coldplay gig! My view should be something very similar to this :D
  23. I'd rate Muse as my #1 band, but Coldplay are certainly up there. Studio/Albums - No idea who's better, It's far too difficult to try and claim one artist is 'just better' than another, and I think people should just learn to move on and appreciate the music itself. Live - I've noticed that Chris does talk to the crowd more, but I still think Muse have quite a big edge in the 'best live performances' department. And yes I LOVED the xmas pressy too - Haven't seen Deadstar live FOR AGES!! :D
  24. I just purchased 2x General Admission Standing tickets for the March 2009 performance in Brisbane Aus. I was asking questions about whether I'd be able to see anything from the middle barrier, and was told that it would all be seated? :stunned: I looked through a few galleries of Viva La Vida tour photographs, and saw some gigs were standing, and some were seated - which confused me a bit. The tickets I bought specify being behind the middle barrier of the GA section, and there was a definite distinction between Standing & Seated tickets when I bought them, so I'm not quite sure what to expect. Anyone help me out?
  25. Hi all, Name's Sean. Just scored tix to my first Coldplay gig in March 09 in Brisbane, Aus - and I have a few qeustions's I'll be posting - in the right place of course :wink3: Just thought I'd say hello :D
