Spending New Years with Coldplay...kind of. :) So I got to the strip around 10pm and I was walking around for a while and waiting for the concert to start until like 11pm. I started to get disappointed that maybe they weren't going to show it afterall so I got sad and we started walking away from the Cosmopolitan. But then I hear a familiar voice asking if everyone was ready. :D So I turn around and see Chris on the bigscreen and hear the beginning of Politik playing now. :dance: So I hurried back to a better area with good sound and good view, and I was all happy again. :D The boys were full of energy and they looked very happy to be there. They were all dressed in what seemed like the Christmas Lights video attire. :wink3: Chris said they even shaved because they wanted to look good in front of the best dressed crowd they've ever played for. :P And for those who heard that Chris was drunk. HE WAS NOT. He was just his usual energetic self. So the concert was fantastic, they really performed well and I wish I could have been inside to sing along with them. I was singing along outside anyways but I felt like I was the only one that knew every song. :P Although there was a lady standing behind me who knew a few. :) The crowd outside seemed to be into it a bit as well though cause they'd cheer at the end of the song. I really had a fun time, I just missed the singalongs that came with Yellow, Fix You, and Viva La Vida, and the other songs where the crowd ALL chimes in. Chris sang everything this time. :P At midnight Jay-Z came out with Coldplay and they had a clock to do a countdown, I think they were a bit early but it was great timing cause right after it was officially 2011, Coldplay performed their final song, Viva La Vida, and it went well with the celebrations going all around me. It was also my first song of the New Year. :dance: There were like 10minutes of fireworks and they started when Viva La Vida was playing. It was great! I had a fantastic time bringing in the new year with Coldplay!! :wacko:

Politik Yellow God Put A Smile Upon Your Face (There was a song here that I did not recognize at all...lyrics that I remember "The temperature is rising.." In My Place Lovers In Japan( with Confetti Butterflies!) Strawberry Swing Fix You Clocks Lost + with Jay-Z Heart Of The City with Jay-Z Viva La Vida I think that was it for the setlist. I voted for Christmas Lights!!! :D We'll see how it goes tonight in Vegas and maybe I'll change my mind. :P But maybe not since it'll be really cold and crowded...

I'm wondering who called me at 2am six times while I was asleep. I answered 2/6 only to hear only a dial tone. So I put my phone on silent. :blank:

I was watching a movie on the Lifetime channel. :P Anyways it was a movie called Intimate Stranger and there was a part where it was 4th grader's b-day party and he received a Coldplay cd. :awesome: The boy responded to the gift with something along the lines of "Cool! Coldplay!":D I'm not sure which cd it was but I think it was Parachutes, cause I saw black on the cover. :) Anyways, I thought it was cool that he received a Coldplay gift. :) Oh, and my cousin is playing Politik on his guitar right now. :awesome:

I know it really sucks cause they could be really good dreams sometimes. Although once, I was having a Coldplay dream, and then I woke up out of nowhere and went back to sleep and my dream continued. :awesome: that hardly ever happens though.:shifty:

I had a Coldplay dream last night too! :dance: It had been a while since I had one. :shame: Anyways I don't know where I was, I think it was school though, and Chris was there!:D And so was Phil. :D They were promoting some new shorts I think they were boxers and Phil pulled Chris somewhere so he can put them on, and he came back with them on. As he was passing me, my friend yelled to Chris, "imelda wants to tell you something!"and I told Chris how much I loved their music and I thought he was cute.:wink3::lol: Anyways he let out this huge smile for me, and said thank you and I can't really remember what else we talked about but then before he left he gave me another smile and a hug and posed for a pic with me. :D I enjoyed this dream. :P
