Everyone is making such valid, thoughtful and heartfelt observances.....but for what it's worth, I love that he's not afraid to change "just a little " with each passing birthday, each new "era".......I love this new confidence, this new urge to smile a lot on and off the stage, this acceptance of himself and celebrity status, and I do agree the Stern interview was a bit of a catalyst - I think all these things are pluses for someone with such creative genius and still-present insecurities. It's what makes him Chris!

My wonderful Secret Santa gift arrived today, Dec. 27, but I can't find her Coldplayer :\ name, SO.... I sincerely hope "Lady" from Sao Paolo, Brazil, who was visiting relatives in Florida and mailed my package from there, is reading this post, (or perhaps someone recognizes who that might be). My package included a cute and colorful Christmas card, complete with a HOHOHO button to wear, 3 amazing chocolate bars, and the loveliest brown-beaded cord necklace with a beautiful mother-of-pearl pendant. Thank you, THANK YOU so very much and I hope I can send you a PM thru this site once I know who you are! I hope your Christmas was as merry as you made mine!

I can only speak from my own experience......."boyfriend" and I broke up for an entire year / various issues, insecurities, immaturity.......this past summer we celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary ! Apparently "absence made our hearts grow fonder" !!!

Hold On Already! People, so much negativity over something that is basically someone's artistic idea...? This is a VIDEO for gosh sakes, let's enjoy whatever the guys have decided.....You will either like it or you won't, but I guarantee the world will keep spinning. If I had been told weeks in advance that Coldplay in elephant suits was to turn into one of their instant classics, I probably would've scratched my head and said Hmmmmm......when in reality, Chris' rather spur-of-the-moment vision is one of their best ever (IMO of course)..... I for one can't wait to see POC results and be damned with the political correctness, racist remarks, rather boring critiques based on a few photos and literally something that doesn't even exist quite yet. It's ART folks, and this is COLDPLAY......nothing more needs saying. Relax and learn to enjoy the simple things with a touch of humor and the sheer joy that being a COLDPLAYER brings to our lives. There's no one else like them on the planet, that's why we love 'em!

I waited this long and already know half of the songs, so for the rest, I want to have the exquisite pleasure of a quiet, empty house where I can turn the music up, put the record on, and shut the world outside until the lights come on...... over and over and over again!!!

show time Just from my experience, the 3 Viva Shows I attended (one indoors, 2 out) were never more than 1 hour 45 minutes........nevertheless, best concerts of my life!
