hmmm... number 1 for me is probably Politik. Also love The Scientist, Trouble and, though it is really only a couple of lines, The Escapist is a perfect fit lyrically and musically. :)

Incidentally, I know some on this thread will also be traveling to Houston for the show on Wednesday the 22nd. I just checked there too, and NOTHING comes up, not even lawn seats. BTW, how ridiculous is it that the best seats I could do for PRESALE were section 200 row FF and now, 4 months later, I was able to get PIT???

I'd love to be upgraded, if possible, but if not, I'll just have to be content with seeing them 3 times this summer! :) I'll have fun even if I'm waayyy up high and waaaayyyyyy far back!

@ Swallowedinsea- thanks for the warning, but I'm so sorry! That sucks! The first show I was hoping to be upgraded for is in a couple of weeks, and it's in an arena... wasn't sure if I should loiter on the main arena level or hang-out looking sad way up high... any thoughts, anyone?

ahhh... thanks, corkus.. you answered the question I was just about to ask. dammit! we have GHIII on wii :( I've gotten pretty good at the bass and guitar parts on Shiver on "hard" but the drums KILL me every time!

I've been lurking on the board for a few months now, and have finally started posting, so I thought I should properly introduce myself. My name's Jen and I've been a coldplayer at heart since AROBTTH... my first vivid Coldplay memory is watching them perform "Politik" on the Grammys. :) I've been out of my twenties for a couple of years now, and I've got two little ones... which probably makes me "old" here, but hopefully you won't hold that against me. If it helps, my kids (ages 3 & 1) are already Coldplay fans- my son (the one year old) requests "Viva la Vida" by name on a daily basis- and he can only say about 30 words. :) Anyway, just wanted to say Hi! It's lovely to find a place where I can share my enthusiasm for Coldplay!

Hi all, I've seen a couple of people post things about being upgraded or seeing others get upgrades at shows and was just wondering what I could do to improve my chances of getting upgraded myself. I'm going to 3 shows this summer, and have AWFUL tickets for 2 of them- lawn and the uppermost, farthest section in an arena. Any ideas/tips are appreciated!! Thanks!

Quick question... I know I read somewhere here or on the Houston or Dallas threads that upgrades can happen at the show, courtesy of the roadies or production staff. Just wondering... how did that happen? Were you there early, in your not-great seats? I've just gotten tix for the SA show for my sister and me (her first Coldplay show), but as I'd already gotten tix for Houston and Dallas, I had to settle for just being in the building. So we have awful tickets- directly opposite the stage, in the VERRRRY back, upper section. Do they go that far back to upgrade fans? Based on what you've seen at other shows, do we have a teeny tiny chance of that or of being anywhere near the remote stage? Thanks!
