  1. I'm not oblying anyone to answer, so why do I get those kind of replies? First.- "We all know" means we ALL know, and I assure that that's not true. Second.- Just because a thing is there and everyone lives with it, it doesn't mean we cannot talk, argue or think about it. Sometimes I think we are too tollerant and passive with the things that are going on. If anyone here will start with a "Tolerance" speech, I must say I am quite a good listener but I do not tolerate what I think are flaws is people's character or situation, so I am not a "all-tolerant" person (that was just a small note) and last but not least, I wouldn't waste your time If I'd thnk what I'm talking about it's nonsense. I do at times, but usually it's not my intention to.

It also has your signature and the date when it was given and when it expires (every 10 years and 5 If you are a child). I'm extredimely amazed at the fact that you haven't got one or that it's voluntary. I had never even wondered why I have to have one, it's just there. Curious fact in Perú, what If you want to travel for example to Chile and you haven't turned 18 yet? (for Perú and Argentina we only travel with our I.D. Cards) We get our I.D. Cards before our passport, so If you want to go abroad, even If you are 5 months old, you must get an I.D. Card first.

yes, they are cards like the size of a driving license (at least here) and for example in Chile they have your: Names 2 Lastnames (Father and mother, in that order) Citizenship Country of Birth Place of Birth Date of Birth Place where you got your I.D Wether you are a donant (blood an organs) or not Sometimes your profession Your finger print (of the big finger in the card and the others in the computer database) Your unique identity number Your passport number Your picture It's mandatory to have it here and you cannot vote without it, for example, and I could say it's asked everywhere and If I'm not wrong, it seems like our neighbourds also have it and most people in the continent.
  4. You all know what a mobile or cell phone is. Do you think they have improved the quality of life? and why? I don't think they have basically because here they are a social instruments rather than a working tool. You could find that strange, but If you had had any contact with Latin America, you might have noted that our references are Europe and the States and most people stick to what's going on there. We are pretty much a fashionable and consumist economy and people (historically, I'm talking as a whole, we feel less than Europeans so we've taken a lot of their traditions and instruments to sort of be at the 'same level') and what's happening now is that everyone feels the need to have a mobile just because the person next door has one and, for example in young people it's really rare to see a person without one and If you don't have one you are nearly oblied to buy one by comments such as "you are not loved because you don't have a mobile" or "I am better than you" or simply "what's your mobile number". It does have quite a lot of advantages, but it hasn't improved, as I see it, the quality of life and that for me means how well you feel as a whole (the combination of relating with people, being well with yourself and so on).

Well, Congrats (I'm always the last person to get the news  ) I couldn't help noticing that you married on some church, what was it and how does the thing of marriage work? You might consider my question very stupid, for not saying anything else, but I just read that on the U.K you don't have I.D Cards, neither in the U.S.A and that seemed so normal to me (I've had one since age 7 maybe) so I might get a surprise here aswell. THANKS!
  6. ah, well it's a bit late now, but Happy Birthday :D well, better late than ever! (poor excuse, but whatever! )

  8. haha, thanks! I'll just leave it there!
  9. can you tell me why everyone imagined me as a hairy giant? Everyone seems to be amazed, but I'm the most average person you'll meet!
  10. and you want be to believe that? I always tell that about myself, but deeply inside, very deep, I don't agree with what I say. I'm sure it's the same with the photographs, and I guess there's no need to explain you the reason of my thinking :D (wow, I'm even sounding lucid tonight )
  11. haha, can't you just accept a nice word without feeling guilty for it?
  12. ah, so that must be it! (it is not that I am a bad photopgrapher then; it's just my camera it's not good enough :P) and before I forget; you shouldn't actually thanks me... it should be the other way around! :)
  13. I love the one with the railway. It reminds me of one of Munch's paints; a man looking down a bridge and just looking as If life was passing in front in him and he was not within it's borders. ah and a question; how do you get so clear images?
  14. just like I was doing before the picture! and that it's pretty well :D how you doing? (it feels weird to ask that, since until today I always thought you either ignored me or realised I existed when you needed to tell me "that is stupid")
  15. wow, I'm surprised now! well, thanks everyone... saying nice words it's not part of my strong point

  23. Well, you might not but we do. I'm Chilean aswell as American and we all are here; we just answer depending to who's asking (If someone from the States or Canada asks me, obviously I will not tell them I'm "American" because they confuse, but we tell to most the oppositte) and yes, I had a couple of questions yesterday; well I always do
  24. Thank you very much! :D The quetsion with the car wasn't exactly the ways of travelling to France, but how do you doit If you go by car from the UK to France? You drive on the left side and France doesn't, so do you have to rent a car when you get to France or maybe something else? and the university fess; I still think 3,000 sterling pounds it's pretty cheap; yeah here it was also free a couple (about 30) of years ago, but it is irealistic to think it will be that way all the time. and yeah, I guess there were a couple of very unclever questions
