  3. Tom, you sound so like.......... cutting now
  4. Thanks :nice:
  5. Thanks thanks, but I still ahve to get there!  :D
  6. your sounds like fun ............ it doesn't to you, at least  and thanks.... I'm just a normal gal with a huge determination when it comes to litle things such as this :D
  7. That sounds fair to me, and I think that too many many people, but you know that's not happening at the moment. Big companies such as Monsanto, are not doing what is expected to do ( a rigorous test, for instance) and well, you have to look at the bright side; at least you have laws is your country that aloud the consumer to identify GM products and sort of limitate their existance (bad explained, but you'll get my point, I hope). Instead here, the companies deny that, but everything they do is based on transgenic Soja (from Argentina, because we are not suppose to plant GM fields here, but the law has some "spaces", legal spaces, that aloud big companies to plant anyway) and we can not say anything. If we say they are using it, they say we are lying or they just stay in silence. Nevertheless, that was never my point; I can't even remember what it was! ah, and Thanks Tom and Léa :D
  8. though the reason is pretty stupid........ There is a country called Swaziland, it's right next to South Africa, but it's not Lesotho (the one which is inside South Africa), and there, Swaziland, you have a very famous school, which belongs or is a member of the U.W.C Foundation, which probably most of you do not know it. The things is, I LOVE Africa and I want to study there, at that particular school.... and you can only apply by your National Comitté. They said they do not send people to Africa, because they've never received a vacancy, so I contacted them personally and they are sending one! :D I said it was maybe silly, or it doesn't sound exciting for you, but what I wanted was an opportunity, and I've got it! :D

I thought you spelled it with a J
  10. but the same person!
  11. There is, and I xan see one change here, Mr. Tom P.
  12. ahh! I know you did, and thanks, but what I really meant here is If someone could give me a link and tell me more about it; something that's not easy to find and that might help me! I have to backup my position, which is anti-GE Food, and you don't seem to agree with me, but that's not really important; the thing is, I need proves! :idea2:
  13. I disagree with you on the third one. Keep th rest.
  14. I'm a terrible writer or a complete misunderstood :idea2:
  15. Jouined something just to feel part of something (sorry for the repetition) and because you can feel you can change things that way, but deeply, you know that isnt true; you are bliding yourself with silly excuses and arguments and you have to follow something just because that's the way society works?
  16. People usually ask things to get answers!
  17. I hears that Nestlé does not produce GE food in Europe, due to the new law that is applying inside the EU. what is the new law about? and are the products any expensier? is it true? -I should have started with that one- I was told that the GE fields in the U.S.A are only for exportations; they are not consumed in the U.S.A, is that true too?
  18. It's been a long time I hadn't seen Ian! :idea2:
  19. but one of them showed a girl riding a motocycle in Chernobyl. People is coming back, you know... not to Chernobyl, but to the nearby areas, and they are planting things, eating them and they can even sell them! (not that anyone buys them though). And all that supported by their president.... Mr...... big russian lastname that I can't remember. Poor Belorussians! ..... aw it's on the Newsweek, June 21st....
  20. :stunned: We are 140 students from Pre-Nursery to Senior School, or Sixth Form as they called it sometimes (Y12)...... and we don't have any electives, nevertheless, we have 4 sports as mandatory
  21. That sounds to me like the "I had nothing, but felt like I had it all" I get that change f state sometimes; from being on the moon to just cannot think properly, but I say it's just like water; let it flow freely and it won't harm you........ bad comparison, but I don't mind, I don't think I've got it and, even If I do, what can I do? I can barely follow my medications now, and I will follow those.... I better stay the way I am (maybe I'm just being paranoi though)
