As you probably read there, I'm not a fan of digital cameras. If you want to keep the pictures, and asign them values, as I do, do not get a digital camera. I love manual cameras, but you have to know how to use them, otherwise you are going to "loose" all your films, at least the first 5  The automatical cameras solve the "problem" or the encuadration (I suppose you say it like that!) and reduces the amount of "wrong" photos to nearly non, but they are restictive, at least that's what I think. That's why I love the manuals, which are more resistant and gives you total freedom, at least compared with the others!. But If you going to take a class, you rather go with the manuals; they are the base of all and they'll teach you the "working process" of it, so you shouldn't have any problem after that. At least not mayor problems. Laura, that must be so nice! I love the little black and white photographs, when they are like on a strip; there is a moderator from Pensylvannia here and she showed some pics of her on those "strips", I love them! I also like the negatives, but not the ones you get on the shops; the home made ones. Your flat must be beautiful, at least that's what my imagination says :lol. Thanks Kalter! :D (Sorry but I didn't want to quote three times)

That's one of my passions in life. I think there was a thread about it, quite a long time ago, but I am not sure. Nevertheless, I am not looking for it, If there is any. I just love the feeling photographs can give you; it's like the theatre, that for me it's just an extension of our lives, well pf our creativity really. I see photography in a quite a similar way. I thought once on writing chronicles, because I took pictures, and the beautiful about them is that they tell a story by themselves, you don't need to be showing or watching 30 minutes on a screen to make a story based on them, so I thought it would be really nice to make stories based on pictures; Chronicles of pictures, but as I said, it was just a thought. I got my manual camera, which is really old, and I'm really happy with it. I hate how modernity is invanding the cameras; they are all getting automatic and each day there are more digital cameras going around. That especial thing photography has is that you can take a picture and keep it for years and it will have a different smell, colours and sometimes texture, but the "principle" or picture remains the same; you can't have that with the digital cameras. It's like letters and emails; emails are faster and cheaper, but letters... they have feelings and you can keep them for years and years, unlike the emails. From all photographs, the ones I love the most are the Black and White photographs. I think they have so much style, heart, personality and elegance. They are what I look is people, I guess

I can't either When I was little I used to go to askiing Villa and the only things we had were the hotel, the places where to ski and skiing shops and trees, nothing else and when it snowed a lot, we could not go out because it was dangerous; I find that the funniest thing in the world...... seeying the snow go down, think of gravity and the water cicle and then make things with the snow, like a snow man and the walks and we could also play Polo after the snowing........ and since I love horses, or me the snow just represents good things. And after it has snowed, there is a quietness..... it's unveliabable, and also the clearness... I can't hate it, I really can't :nice:

how come you don't love the snow? I mean like I would g crazy with so much snow..... it was raining here, and now the mountains are covered iwth snow, and I can see that through my window...... but they are very far and I can touch them. I don't understand how you don't get crazy with it; it's so pure and beatiful and peaceful. If I could I would just take my camara and take pictures of it.

Hey carla, my team is beating yours
 I agree with you Julia on the part that the Australian team has no future in football ....... but you have so many awesome Rugby Players that it doesnt matter really........ you've got to the World Cup though I think, because Australasia has 1 1/2 "spaces" and since there is no competition there (Fiji, NZ and the other island, which I can't remember the name, are almost no competition at all) I think you've actiolly reach the World Cup quite a few times, not sure though. and don't think my country is lame; who knows more I or he? even If I wasn't a citizen here, who would know more? I think I would, sorry I don't think I would, I know I would :smug:

Bald
 well I still can't understand it, but I can't see the bad thing is going bald I personally, as I said before, like bald people I've always wanted to touch a bald head :embarrased:  well, I said I was curious! Besides there are much more important things than how much hair a person has in his head  Sure they are  That's just my opinion though ah, an excentricities....... excentric people can be really funny or really anoying, but never normal  they are excential though, whatever the side or case, they are escential :D

Transexuals
My cousin and a couple of friends are adopted. They say it's better not to know why, because sometimes the storys behind it are very dissapointing, but If they don't know anything they have the uncertainty factor, which alouds them to sort of make up their own story.

Bald
I've seen young men, about 18, worried about their hair; it's like "I'm going bald" :stunned: and If so, what's the big deal about it? People gets older everyday, it's the way it is suppose to be.

Transexuals
I thought something similar, but after seeying the program and talking to my friend I was like....... I don't understand really. I do understand the biological part, in a simple way, and what happens, but I can't understand how you can "think as a woman" and be a man. I know people think diferently, but I would have to be one to understand them inside. I know I won't be able to do that, but at least I can treat them fairly... I can't really think of how it must be for them; people is/are cruel with them, then the desition of changing teir sex and the family reaction, the friends, themselves and suppose they have kids; what are you going to tell them? do they tell them?
